Perfect Blend, Seoul
5:30pm
Y/nYou had accepted that after about half an hour of Jimin and Hoseok talking that your tutoring session wasn't going to be happening, but you had made peace with it. Instead, you were enjoying watching the joyful interactions between the two best friends.
"Well, it looks like you will be going on that date on Saturday." Jin said in English as he passed you a glass of water. You accepted it and smiled happily.
"Who knew that all it would take would be a condition." You responded to him, and you heard Jin laugh.
"Hoseok wouldn't let his friendship die because of a little fight." Jin said and you tore your eyes off of the two dancers who were laughing at something one of them had said to look at Jin. "Besides, he would never miss out on a date with you." Jin said with a wink and you flushed and muttered a 'shut up', earning a loud laugh from Jin.
You were glaring at Jin but it was quickly cut off by an arm that was placed behind the back of your chair, and suddenly, Hoseok was standing beside you.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I got carried away." Hoseok whispered to you and you smiled brightly at him.
"Don't apologize. I am just happy to see you guys talking again." You muttered and Hoseok smiled at you.
"I have to get going," Hoseok started and he brought the hand that was resting on the back of your chair and started to lightly caress your back. It was a small gesture, but it made your heart flutter. "But I'll see you on Saturday." Hoseok said before leaning forward and planting a small kiss on your cheek.
Your eyes widened and your cheeks flushed and Hoseok ran out of the cafe, giggling excitedly. Jin, once he saw the look on your face, howled with laughter and you grabbed the hardest thing you could find (which was your Korean workbook) and smacked him in the arm.
"Oh shut up." You muttered, but the red in your cheeks didn't go away.
You were sitting on your couch at five to 7 on Saturday night and your heart was pounding. Hoseok was supposed to be here for 7 and the only thing you knew was to dress a tiny bit fancy, whatever that meant. So you dressed in a nice, flowy tank top and black jeans with black heels. After all, you didn't want to look too desperate.
Your heart dropped when you heard a knock on your door because holy shit, this was actually happening. You were about to go on a date with Hoseok.
You cleared your throat and when you stood up, you smoothed out your clothes before heading to the door. When you opened it, your breath caught because Hoseok looked so completely, wow.
His arm was resting above his head on the frame of your door, and he had his hair parted to show his forehead again. His outfit was all black - with black skinny jeans that were ripped on the knees, thin black belt with his black t-shirt tucked in. He had a black blazer on with gold accent pieces at the front of it. To put it lightly, Hoseok looked like a goddamn supermodel and you were floored that you were actually going on a date with this guy.
"Hey," He whispered as he looked at you up and down. "You look stunning." He muttered and he gave you a charming smile.
"So do you." You replied and he gave you one of the most beautiful smiles you'd ever seen.
"You ready to go?" He asked before leading you to your date.
You had no idea where Hoseok was taking you, but you couldn't find it in yourself to be bothered too much. After all, the night was clear and warm, and you were with the person who could very well be your soulmate. What was there to complain about?
Suddenly, Hoseok stopped walking and you stopped beside him. "Where are you taking me?" You asked and he smiled at you.
"I figured the most beautiful girl in Seoul should have the most beautiful view of the city." Hoseok said before he led you through the doors of a skyscraper. You barely even paid attention to your surroundings, blindly following Hoseok because the only thought in your head was 'Hoseok thinks I'm the most beautiful girl in Seoul.'
The next thing you knew, you were being led out of an elevator you didn't even realize that you got in, and suddenly, your breath was knocked out of your lungs.
"Oh my god." You whispered, and Hoseok laughed.
"You like it?" He asked and all you could do was nod. Hoseok put his hand on your lower back and subtly pushed you into the restaurant, called Rooftop Kloud, because you were effectively glued to your spot on the ground.
"I love it." You whispered, barely able to process the beauty of where you were. You glanced up at Hoseok to see him already gazing at you softly. "What?" You asked quietly.
Hoseok's grin widened and he shrugged his shoulders. "You're just really beautiful." Hoseok said as if it was the most natural thing in the world. "You know, I've been planning tonight pretty much since the moment I laid eyes on you." He said as he led you to the host station.
"Oh really?" You asked in a teasing tone, curious about what he would say. The host led you to a table that gave you the best view of Seoul you think you've ever seen.
"Yup." He said as he pulled out your chair for you. "I just can't believe I can finally talk to you about how crazy I am about you."
You felt like you were starting to see Hoseok in a different light the more he spoke to you. You knew you were in love with this guy but to hear that he felt the same as you was an incredible feeling. You smiled at him, feeling purely blissful while admiring the Seoul skyline and the gorgeous man in front of you.
