Hannam-dong, Seoul
9:13am
Y/n"He said what to you after he kissed you?" Lucy exclaimed with so much fervor that she almost dropped the coffee cup she was holding.
Lucy had woken you up at 8:30am by furiously knocking on your front door with coffee and bagels, demanding you let her in so you both could talk about how last night went. If you weren't so disorientated from being woken up in the morning with a damn near heart attack from how loud she was knocking on the door, you would've been mad.
But the bagels were fresh and the coffee was hot so you begrudgingly let her in.
"He said 'see ya bud' and left immediately after." You responded with a small smile as you recalled the events from the night.
"Oh my gosh." Lucy muttered before breaking out into laughter. "That's so cute. How do you feel about it?" She asked as she took a sip of her coffee.
You spread cream cheese on one half of your bagel as Lucy looked at you expectantly, and all you could do was smile. You honestly didn't really care much that Hoseok called you bud. It was a funny little mistake and were you going to let one mistake prevent you from seeing Hoseok again?
Answer: hell no.
"I can't judge him really. Learning a second language is not easy and English is stupid. Besides, he's still Hoseok, and I still really like him." You muttered and Lucy awed.
"Wow, you two are so head over heels for each other." She said as she started buttering up a bagel. "It's disgusting." She teased and as you laughed, you threw a crumpled up napkin at her.
You both continued eating and at about 10, Lucy had to leave because she was meeting Ye-jun for an afternoon date, but that was fine. You usually liked to clean your apartment on Sundays so you could start the week off fresh.
Lucy left, and the first thing you did was put on the most obnoxious mix of 2000s songs and started singing loudly while cleaning up the kitchen of the mess you and Lucy had created when you had breakfast.
You continued to dance and sing around your apartment for the next couple of hours when you decided to take a small breather to drink some water. You paused your playlist and made your way to the sink when you heard another knock on your door.
This time, it was a soft, gentle knock - a kind of knock that you could've easily missed if you had continued to blast your music. That would've been embarrassing.
You walked to the front door and wiped the sweat that accumulated on your brow (dancing and singing while cleaning can really be a good workout), and when you opened the door, you were surprised at who was leaning against your door.
"Hoseok?" You nearly screamed and you closed the door almost immediately after opening it. Oh my gosh, why the heck was he here? Especially now, after you had just been cleaning and you're all dusty and gross and sweaty? And he was there, outside your door, looking fine as fuck?
"Uh, is now a bad time?" He asked through the door and that's when you realized - you just slammed the door in Hoseok's face because he caught you by surprise.
Nice, Y/n. Real smooth.
You quickly brushed off the dust and grime off of your clothes and patted down your hair before opening the door to see the love of your life standing there looking concerned. "Are you okay?" He asked and you wanted to squeal with how sweet he was, but you composed yourself and tried to deal with the fact that you just slammed the door in his face.
"I'm fine. You just took me by surprise." You huffed out, still a bit out of breath, and Hoseok smiled at you.
"Do you always slam the door on people who take you by surprise?" He asked in a teasing tone, and you gave him a shy smile.
"Only the cute ones." You responded, making a joke about what he had said to you yesterday. He seemed to get the joke and he smiled at you. "What are you doing here? Did you already start missing me?" You teased and enjoyed how his cheeks flushed red, but he kept the cheeky smile on his face.
God, you loved that smile.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you baby." He muttered, and the pet name made your heart race. You still weren't sure how you landed this stud, honestly. "I also couldn't stop thinking about last night." He muttered as he made his way over to you. He gently placed his hands on your hips and the front of your chest was soon pressed against his and you instantly tried to recall putting deodorant on in the morning. Thank god, you were 90% certain you did.
"Oh really?" You asked as you put your hands on his shoulders and pulled him a little closer to you, trying to encourage him to just shut up and kiss you.
"Yeah." He muttered as his eyes fluttered down to your lips. You smiled softly and pulled him closer to you, hellbent on getting the kiss you've been thinking about since last night. It definitely seemed like that was the first thing on his mind too, because he wasn't putting up a fight and let you pull him into. And then, right before your lips touched, he hesitated. "Look, I wanted to apologize for last night."
His face was so close to yours that when he spoke, his lips tickled yours and you could feel his breath and gosh, you've never been more frustrated than you were at that moment. "Nothing to apologize for." You muttered and tried to pull him closer but he wasn't having it so he pulled his head away and you instantly pouted.
"I'm serious, baby." He muttered and the pout on your face deepened which made him chuckle. "I called you bud after I kissed you! That's so embarrassing." He pouted and looked down and your expression softened, feeling how affected he was by this.
"Hoseok, baby. Look at me." You put your hand under his chin and forced Hoseok to look at you. "I am not bothered that you called me 'bud'. It was cute, it was funny and it hasn't stopped me from wanting to kiss you again." You said and Hoseok smiled slightly at you.
"So you don't hate me?" He asked quietly and he bit his lip, and you smirked.
"I don't think there's anything you could do that would make me hate you." You muttered before leaning forward and kissing him softly, and your heart soared when you felt him kiss back. However, you weren't going to let him off the hook so easily, so you pulled away. "Unless you wear socks with sandals, then we might have to re-evaluate."
Hoseok threw his head back and laughed loudly before bringing his forehead back to yours. "I don't know what I'd do without you." He giggled and you smiled.
"Yeah, I know. I'm pretty amazing." Hoseok gave you a massive smile and he leaned in to kiss you. And again. And again. In fact, he kissed you so much that you had to breakaway in order to release the giggle that was building up.
"I'm so crazy about you." Hoseok muttered before kissing you again. This time however, it wasn't a small peck. It was a gentle kiss that made butterflies erupt in your stomach.
"What are you doing for the rest of the day?" You asked after he pulled away from you, and Hoseok hummed.
"Whatever you're doing." He smiled at you.
"Well, I just finished cleaning my apartment and I'm kind of hungry. Why don't you come in and we can order some food and watch a movie?" You asked and Hoseok grinned at you.
"That sounds absolutely amazing." He said and you grabbed his hand and led him into your apartment. You didn't really know what the future held for you and Hoseok but you knew that you were more than excited to see what would transpire.
After all, you were almost certain that you were in love with this guy already, and you now knew that he liked you too so as far as you were concerned, the only way to go was up.
