Draco was surprised to see the new girl walk into the great hall at dinner with Longbottom and Lovegood.
'Huh,' he smirked to Blaise, 'And I was led to believe she had decent taste in people.'
'Nah, didn't cha 'ear wot she did to Weasley?' Blaise said with a mouthful of food.
'What happened?' Draco asked cautiously,
'Weasel insulted Lovegood and she flipped out on him. Heard she beat the shit out of him!' Blaise said excitedly.
'Maybe there's hope for her after all...'
Draco looked over to where she was sitting among the happy couples, tapping the small box in her hand and she looked up and smiled at him.
'I think you've got a thing for her Darco,' Astoria giggled into his ear.
'If she's a nefelibita then she could be useful,' Draco argued,
'Uh huh, keep telling yourself that Malfoy,'
'And what if I have a thing for you?' Draco whispered into her ear with a smirk,
'Then you will be heartbroken to know that I have a thing for Blai- somebody else.' She replied catching herself.
Draco chuckled,
'We both know his whole player act is all for show Astoria,'
'It doesn't matter Draco, he doesn't see me that way. Now what about you and Miss Andronicus?'
'Astoria?'
'Yeah?'
'Shut the hell up.'
