Sometimes before it gets better,
The darkness gets bigger.
The person you'd take a bullet for,
Is behind the trigger.
- Miss Missing You, FALL OUT BOYSOTC is This is Gospel by Panic! At The Disco
"'On the 31st of October a ball will be held for all seventh year students, costumes are required.' That sounds like fun!" Hannah Abbot said over breakfast reading an invitation that a grey owl had delivered earlier.
'Who are you going to go with Aurora?' Luna asked her,
'Why? Do I have to bring a date?' Aurora asked.
'Well, it's not compulsory but everyone does.' Hannah said thoughtfully,
'Draco will probably ask you,' Luna said with a faint smile.
Neville, Dean and Seamus all choked on their food.
'Why would she go with Malfoy of all people?' Neville said hoarsely, obviously still recovering from his coughing fit.
'He likes her,' Luna said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
'How would you know Luna?' Dean asked her.
'He's my cousin, could somebody please pass the Nutella?'
Neville looked extremely shocked at this.
'What's wrong with Draco?' Aurora asked,
'He's a vicious little prat,' Seamus said after taking a large gulp of pumpkin juice,
'Still not hearing a legitimate reason,' Aurora laughed
'He has a history,' Hannah explained,
'That and his father tried to kill us all.' Dean added.
'He seemed alright to me,' Aurora shrugged, 'His mate seemed like the real asshole.'
'Yeah, that's Blaise, He likes to think he's a ladies man,' Neville snickered.
'Just tell me one good reason to sum up why I shouldn't go with Draco and I won't.' Aurora said raising an eyebrow,
Dean, Neville and Seamus thought about it for a moment before Hannah blurted out 'But he's in Slytherin!'
Aurora smiled sadly at her.
'Why is that a bad thing?'
'Oh come off it, everyone know all the bad wizards come from Slytherin!' Dean grunted.
'Has nobody ever considered that Slytherins are all seen as the bad guys because everyone says that they have to be? Imagine being told your in the bad house so your a bad person for seven years, Everyone boos your Quiddich team and and all the other houses hang out with everyone but you. The all of a sudden a bunch of nice people tell you, you aren't worthless or bad and invite you to join a new family where you'll be accepted. It's practically racism Guys!' Aurora replied,
'And I'll apologise when he stops proving the stereotype right!' Seamus argued.
Aurora took a deep breath in.
'I'm going to go find a tree to punch before someone pisses me off even more.' She said taking one last sip of her coffee.
She walked out of the great hall and out to the grounds and down to the Lake.
She pulled her wand out of her boot and aimed it at an old log on the ground and transfigured it into a large punching bag.
After 20 minutes and a few brutal blows to the bag, the spell had taken its limit and turned back into a log that soon fell apart.
She walked back to her dorm and got changed for her Charms lesson and Left wearing a faint smile.
