"Alright everyone! Listen up!" The teacher said, "I need everyone to pay attention to this. As we are starting our boxing unit there are a lot of risks and regulations involved. It's important that we pay attention for the safety and wellbeing of others."

The class was in the spacey gym. Mats were sprawled across the floor while a big one laid in the middle. The quiet chitter chatter slowly died down as everyone started to focus on the teacher. Well... all except two people. With their adrenaline pumping both Adrien and Marinette were on fire. Glancing at each other at every moment they got, raised suspicions towards others— especially Alya. However, neither one had noticed. The dirty talk would start before classes started or when they passed each other in the hallway. And each meeting would become more intense the the one before.

The bet placed between them made Marinette much more confident in herself. Starting off as not being able to speak a word in front of him to getting up close and personal just to tease him became the normal throughout the day. Maybe friendly banter was nice. Maybe seeing Adrien in a friendly manner was much better than fawning over him. However things were different on Adrien's side.

Adrien couldn't be any more flirtatious with the girl. He had a need to constantly be by her side at all times. Marinette hadn't noticed but he'd be asserting his dominance every time he walked into the room simply by looking at his stance and body language. But what gave him the sudden turn around? The urge to protect Marinette at all costs? To become an alpha. Because it certainly hadn't come out of the blue.

Looking behind him he saw Marinette sitting at the top of the bleachers listening to what the teacher was saying. The raven-haired girl noticed the blonde staring up at her but she chose not to look trying to get on his nerves. At that moment he wanted nothing more than for her to stare back at him with a sly grin on her face. To see the apples of her cheeks glow as her rosy lips parted. But he couldn't get the affirmation when the teacher called upon him, "Adrien, pay attention. You might end up breaking someone tooth if you don't."

"Sorry, Mr. Dubois," He replied. He wasn't sorry.

"Alright, the rules are simple. No hits below the waist. No kicking, no headbutt, no biting, no spitting. You cannot hit your opponent with your elbow, shoulder or forearm. We will not be using mouth pieces so I need you all to refrain from hitting one another in the face. However I ain't one to punch and tell," The teacher earned a laugh from the students, "Ok, get into partners and start doing your warmups."

Adrien got up from his seat searching for Marinette who was probably wisped away by Alya or someone. He looked around until he felt a nudge on his shoulder, "Come on dude, I don't want to end up with some crusty-ass mat."

"Nino, I'm sure the mat's are cleaned before use," Adrien chuckled. Nino shook his head furiously. The student would put the sweaty, smelly mats inside the storage room at the end of the day only for them to collect dust. Adrien's eyes widened as he followed his best friend who was now putting on equipment.

Marinette grabbed a pair of boxing gloves wrapping one around her hands before getting Alya to wrap the other. The girl bumped her gloves together prancing on her feet. The early adrenaline from before still remained. After what Adrien had told her before getting into the locker rooms boosted the flame within her.

"Make sure to wear something pretty under that dress for the date," He winked.

"Mari?" She heard someone yell. She looked up to see Alya wearing a chest guard while holding up two cushions between her fingers. She was positioned in a fighting stance with her glasses off ready for Marinette to strike, "What are you looking at?"
