March 25, 2021

A new day is dawning, flock of birds flew by the window as they chirped melodically.

George yawned and groaned as he stretched his stiff body on the bed, uncontrollably rolling side to side.

He stared at the curtain long enough and stood up from his bed, now walking towards it and slowly shoving it away to reveal a silent morning as George gazed from his window.

George then opened his window and instantly felt a cold breeze coming from the outside. He peaked and was greeted by some lady by a wave in the hand.

"Good Morning."

The male says, then noticed a truck passing by and stopped at the house next to his. He squinted his eyes to focus on the truck but it didn't help.

He shrugged it off and decides to close the window. George then took his phone and saw a text from Clay.

"Good Morning, Mr. Colorblind."

The male chuckled when he read the text, he then tapped on his phone to reply;

"Once again, don't call me that. Good Morning, Clay."

His text was immediately seen by the other and replied;

"Can I come over at your house at dinner?"

George giggled as he saw Clay sending emojis that had a pout and eyes that looked like they were asking for permission. Does Clay wanna have dinner with him? He flipped it off and replied.

"Sure, it'd be lovely to have some company."

He went downstairs to prepare and eat breakfast, then got a text again.

"Cool! I'll be there at dinner, see ya!"

George turned his phone off and proceeds to do what is needed to be done. He had pancakes for breakfast, fed Luca and washed the dishes and his clothes.

He didn't bother to go to a laundry shop because it would cost him some cash, instead he washed it all by himself.

As he wiped his hands dry, sweat formed on his forehead. He heard some noise that appears to be coming from the house near his.

He quickly wiped the sweat on his face and decides to check the noise. George took a step outside and saw a man in his 20's, carrying luggages alone.

The person grunts in annoyance as he made his way inside the house, then going back to the truck to get some more things repeatedly.

George closed the door and decides to approach and help out the troubled male, but was stopped when he saw a familiar figure helping the man out.

"Clay?"

He says as he rubbed his eyes, thinking he might have been delusional. He opened his eyes and saw Clay walking in front of him.

"Good Morning, George." says Clay as the other just stood and stared straight at him, judging if he's really there or not.

"I must say, I'm quite surprised to see you here." says George as he narrowed his eyes at the other.

Clay looks at him for a moment and got the gist of what it meant.

"Actually, I'm helping a friend out." says Clay as he trails off and looks at the man who is annoyed at carrying luggages.

"You know him?" George looks at the man from afar and gazed back at Clay.

Clay turned his attention to George, "Yeah, I've known him since I was 13." he confessed.
