THE REGRETS OF THE PAST HUNG HEAVY IN THE AIR. Everyone trapped in their own minds and trapped in their thoughts. They struggled to accept that at the age of thirteen Bea and her friends defeated a demonic clown. A creature somehow even more powerful than them. All without powers.

They couldn't help but worry that she would not want to see them after all they did.

Rebecka couldn't get the sight of seven year old Phoebe out of her head. She didn't think she would be able to handle it if she still had that scared hopeless look in her eyes when she saw them again. It made her feel sick.

Elijah was in deep thought that creature whatever it was dangerous. And powerful. Whatever it was, was old. Older than them. Yet it had been bested my children. How could that be?

Hayley felt awful. Pheobe had everything, friends who cared for her, someone who loved her. She didn't need them. She had made a life without their influence. They sent her away yet she moved on.

Freya knew that what they had done wasn't right deep down. But she didn't really care. Pheobe wasn't supernatural. She was a risk, however if the others wanted her back she wasn't going to oppose them. She was still too new to the family.

Klaus was paranoid about what he had seen. Whoever Pheobe was friends with could not be trusted, they weren't allies. They were trying to steal her away from them. They had to be eliminated if they got in the way. It was a stupid decision to send her away, she was his blood. His property.

The silence was broken when Hope spoke up. She looked around at her family, watching them all struggling with their own thoughts.

"Aunt Freya, can we see some memories from after that summer?" Hope asked hopefully.

"Yes Freya please?" Hayley begged. She needed to see more, craved it even. She needed to feel better about this.

"I'll need Hope and Davina's help again but I can."  Freya told them all as she tried to hide her annoyance.

They all got into the same positions as before and were once again submerged in a memory.

MEMORY ONE- AGE THIRTEEN

Her hair was a mess; wet and blood soaked strands clinging to her face. Despite the exhaustion weighing her down Bea was feeling the happiest she had in months. Her friends were back in her life and IT was gone. Henry bowers and his crew no longer a threat. Things would be better from now on, she could sense it. Her smile faded as she climbed the steps opening the door and grimacing as the door creaked loudly. Grime covered her clothes and she groaned as she tried to rub away the remains of the fight with IT entering the living room. Cynthia was sat on the couch, a petrified expression on her face as she watched Bea. Andrew stood with his back to her head tilted down the way it was when he was angry. Hearing her footsteps her turned  around and she sees it. The gun.
