My eyes followed his retreating figure and my heart yearned to chase after him, but I felt a strong grip on my hands. With a heavy heart, I joined back the conversation on the table. I looked to my left, where my boyfriend, Gat, was laughing along with my friends.

Oh how fast will Gat’s smile drop if I told him I had fallen out of love? I no longer want to stay by his side, but I could not bear hurting him. Yes, he might be smiling and laughing, but he was a depressed freak. How I long for a normal boyfriend, like him, who was walking back to his group of friends.

“Babe?” I whipped back to look at Gat. “What are you looking at?” I was frozen for a moment, and that heavy, hard weight pushed against my chest.

“Just the view of the garden,” I said, where he was there, I said silently in my heart.
