On the way to their destination, the trio were sharing homework answers. Eddie can clearly see how their relationship worked, and it was quite intertaining.
"What you get for number 18?" Zach said. They made a makeshift table out of a board in the car. Eddie should probably bring that home soon.
"C. What about you Buck?" Charlie glanced in his direction.
"D. Why do i have a feeling we are wrong?"
"Here, let me help ya'll out. Can you read the question out loud?" Eddie said.
Buck reads the question, it was on the subject of Spanish, cause why not, and Eddie smiled.
"Its A, because the verb ayudar is in the subjuntive preterite tense, meaning the cabin of the truck has to be a present subjunctive. Both C and D are in the wrong tenses." If this was an anime, you could see the stars in Zach and Bucks eyes. They found a Spanish homework buddie!!!
"Thanks so much! That actually clears up a lot of questions. But we still have more, wanna help us?" Buck asked.
"Sure kid."
~Time skip~
Athena 3rd POV
"You should be proud of those boys, I don't know how they did it but they managed to get a 100 on their Spanish test. That was pure dedication, they seem a bit ahead from the class too." The boys' teacher said onto the phone.
You can bet me anything to say that Athena feels like a proud mom. Those boys have pulled through so much, with just a few weeks of school. You could almost say it was like those boys are like sons to her. Almost though, Athena tends to keep her emotions in check 24/7.
And since those boys are so wel behaved, nothing like the 'gangstas' they claimed to be, she decides it's time to take the next step. Introductions to the family. She misses her real kids too.
