Peter's POV

I was sat at the counter with MJ looking at me expectantly.
"So, care to explain why I came in to see you beaten up by May?" MJ asked-well more like stated.

I sighed "May started of verbally hurting me after Uncle Ben died but she started drinking, causing her to get more physical, as you saw."

"Why the hell did you not tell us! Peter you looked like you could've died, even if you're SP!"

"I'm sorry you had to see that. I didn't tell anyone as I cannot go into the system. They will send me away, it'll probably be worse than here. Also, New York needs their friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, how am I going to protect people if I go into the system?"

"Okay Peter, I get your point but you cannot carry in like this."

"I know MJ, but the only way I will get help is if someone in New York that I know is willing to adopt me. Which is no one by the way."

"What about Tony?"

"You mean phone Tony? Yeah right, he hardly knows me. Why would he want to adopt a kid like me?"

"He seemed to be really fond of you, not in a pedo way. Also, you and Pietro?" She raised her eyebrows at me.

It's weird seeing this side of MJ but it's nice and refreshing.

"What about Pietro?"

"You two seem great for each other."

"As if he could like me like that, I bet you he doesn't even swing that way."

"Deal, 10 bucks says he likes you."

"You're on!"

We finished eating and I helped her clean up.

"Hey MJ?"

"Yeah Loser."

I chuckled at the usual nickname.

"Thank you for helping me and for being a great friend to me. I know you're not usually the person to be open but you are with me and I appreciate it."

"Loser, I may not show it often but I so love you, you're my greatest friend, other than Ned-" we both chuckled at that "-please call me if anything happens again, and I mean anything, especially if Pietro admits to liking you."

"I promise I will, I love you too MJ."

MJ came over and hugged me, making sure to avoid my back.

THE walled up MJ just hugged me!

I hugged her back

I truly love my friends 🙂

A/N yes these authors notes are probably annoying or funny either way they will continue 😂 As stated yesterday I did wait a day to post this chapter. Chapter 16 will be put up on Monday, or maybe Sunday (if I remember 😅) okay I'm trying not to ramble.
