Chp:-18 Life Doesn't Stop

3 Years Later,

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Life is going on. No matter whatever happens, life doesn't stop. I am settled in Mumbai. It's been 3 years since I've been living here now. I gave my 100% in my law career and I hardly had time for anything else. I could fulfill all my dreams, I have everything that I dreamt of having. I have everything a well furnished fancy bungalow in one of the posh areas of Mumbai, a BMW etc etc. Initially I used to stay with Sheena Sabbharwal my childhood friend when I came to Mumbai. Ayush bhaiya, Ishaan bhaiya bought this bungalow for me. I told them that I don't want it but they didn't listen. I have been living in this bungalow for the past one year. Sheena keeps coming to check on me. Reet also frequently comes to Mumbai from Delhi. Dakshita visits me twice a year.

I am considered as one of the best top 10 lawyers in India. I have everything friends, family, excellent salary and career, everything but it's of no use because there's no happiness in my life. The love of my life. Randheer. I still remember the hurt in his eyes the moment my dad said about my so called wedding. I regret hiding everything from Randheer. I am the root cause of everything. Randheer has blocked me in social Medi and his life. I've made a spam account only to stalk him. I even comment on his pictures to which he replies sometimes which makes my heart skip a beat. I still feel shivers running down my spine after seeing Randheer just like I felt when I saw him for the first time. I am still crazily in love with him. Wherever he is, I just hope that he's shining in his career and he's fine.

It's been 3 years now and I haven't been to Dubai in these 3 years. My family come and visit me but nothing is the same as before. I keep slight distance from them and I'm more formal towards them. I'm really upset with them especially dad.

Currently I'm sitting in my living room of the bungalow reading the newspaper. My phone rang. It was Dakshita. I answered.

"Yes Dakshi."

Dakshita excitedly said, "Aysh Aysh Aysh, I'm so excited. Soham bhaiya is getting married to Aashi. They're couple goals. They're getting married here in Mumbai and guess what Me, Mom, Dad, Samaira dee, Tauji, Taiji, Kabir, Dev bhaiya, Soham bhaiya, Aashi bhabhi, Mihika we're all here before we go to Udaipur for the wedding. You have to come Aysh no excuses ok. Your family, Raizaadas, Hindujas, Goels and Mirchandanis have already arrived. Singhanias came here a week ago. I'm coming to pick you up we're going shopping today no excuses."

I said, "woah woah woah! Dakshi cool down okay! Yes, I'm coming ok. Happy?"

Dakshita said, "good girl. Anyways you don't have any choice."

I said, "yes boss lady come soon."

She said, "Aysh Aysh. I forgot to tell you something. Rohan bhaiya, Natasha, Kabir bhaiya, Samaira, Soham bhaiya, Aashi bhabhi, Mihika, Riya, Nirav, Ishaan, Ayush, Sanya, Nikhil, Nisha, Gautam, Aditya, Akanksha and Ishika are meeting for dinner in Taj Lands End tonight."

I said, "ok I'll be there." We hung up.

I took a shower and got ready and got dressed. Later Dakshita came home. We both had lunch together. Soon, we left. We did a lot of shopping. Afterwards we came back to my house and kept all the stuff and freshened up and headed to Taj Lands End for dinner. As soon as we reached there we saw our gang seated inside the private room. Everyone saw us and said hi. I hugged everyone. We settled down.

Dakshita said, "bhaiya order food first I'm famished."

Kabir said, "yes foodie monster." Dakshita gave him a glare. We chuckled.

I said, "congratulations Aashi and Soham."

Aashi said, "thanks Aysh." Soham just nodded and looked at his fiancée lovingly.

Nirav said, "Aysh you've made all of us proud in these 3 years."

Riya said, "yes. She comes under best top 10 lawyers of India."

Rohan said, "it's all because of your hardwork Ayesha. Keep it up."

Sanya said, "congratulations Aysh."

I said, "thanks." I smiled weakly.

We all spoke for a while. Soon our appetisers came.

Kabir said, "guys have you heard about Randheer?"

Soham said, "yes dude. He was so different before and now he has become the world famous heartbreaker and playboy of Rio de Janerio. Typical bad boy you know. He's really a successful multi billionaire businessman."

My world stopped right there. This was not the Randheer I knew. Randheer is the nicest person alive. My heart is not agreeing to it. I feel still there are hopes. HOPE. This word has only helped me live life. One day, one day everything will be completely normal and I can be happy. God knows when.

I could see Rohan smack his brothers head lightly and they both glared at Rohan.

Ishaan bhaiya said, "god Dev. You both are idiots. Me and Ayush have been hiding things about Randheer and his whereabouts from Ayesha since 3 years and you guys.....arghh......!"

I was shocked. Ishaan bhaiya and Ayush bhaiya knew about him and didn't even bother to tell me. I would've at least tried to make things alright. I would've gone there and tried to talk to him.

Ayush bhaiya said, "That day he was going to propose you Aysh. He bought a ring. Aysh we didn't want you to go through another heartbreak. We both know that very well that this news will make you upset. It's the truth. We're sorry."

Rohan said coldly, "the heartbreak that she will go through is nothing in front of the heartbreak Randy is going through. Because of what you did to him Ayesha, he's broken. He has become ruthless. He has become stone hearted for the world. He doesn't trust women. This is all because you broke his heart. You should have told him everything instead of hiding it from him. The truth is you never trusted him, his love, your relationship. I'm really disappointed with you. I don't appreciate what you have done to my dearest friend, my brother born from another mother. Nothing would've happened even if you would've gone and seen him in Rio de Janerio. His anger is scary as hell. He is angry. 5 years, since 5 years he hasn't gone to London to his family only because London will remind him of you. His family has been flying to Brazil to see him. He has become a workaholic and has no time for his friends. He broke his friendship with Ayush. He's hardly keeping touch with Vikram and Niraj. Cooling down Randy's anger is a difficult task. Me, Akash and Sanket we know him so damn well since childhood we've tried every possible thing but he's still the same. If it wouldn't have been you Ayesha and someone else in your place then I would've made their person's life hell."

Dakshita said, "Rohan bhaiya, calm down please. Don't be so cold to Aysh."

Ishaan bhaiya said, "Dev dude, I understand what you're saying bro but don't be so mean ok. She's already regretting it for the last 3 years. She's living with it. She has got the punishment for doing this to Randheer but it's high time now. Till when will you tolerate it Aysh. Just move on. It's quite possible that Randheer might have moved on too and found someone. You also need to just let it go. I can't see you like this. You have everything except for happiness and I want you to get the happiness that you deserve."

I said, "I cannot move on bhaiya. I love Randheer. I want to make things alright. I never knew his whereabouts. He blocked my number. He blocked me from his social media. I didn't know what to do. You could've helped but you chose not to. Maybe we would've been fine by now. Everyone gets a second chance then why can't we. That's unfair. That's unfair." I realised that I was literally crying.

I just got up and left the restaurant and drove to my house. I reached and I just cried my heart out. Everything played on my mind, all our conversation in the restaurant. I am the root cause of everything. I destroyed both our lives.

I DON'T DESERVE TO BE WITH RANDHEER............................
