Loki's POV:

"At least say something brother."

"Say what Thor? That I want to be here? I would much rather sit in a cell on Asgard."

"I thought you wanted to rule this realm?"

"I just wanted to be a king."

"By bringing war?"

That look, how many more times will I have to see that look. The mix of anger, sympathy, and regret from trusting me, I couldn't reply I didn't support my actions but I have no excuse. None of them would forgive me, none of them, and honestly I wouldn't either. I will the live the rest of my days surrounded by people that would rather see me locked up and hidden away.

Halia's POV:

Three months, I have lived in the tower three months learning how to control my powers. I still struggle but the avengers have definitely helped. I no longer have peoples thoughts flooding into mine, and I can travel safely an hour through time, past or future. Its completely safe though as Bruce says "Changing the past doesn't change the future" I don't really understand the whole concept but I trust Bruce completely, after all he does have a lot of PHD's.

"Hey kid, turns out Thor's bringing a guest." Tony bursts into the library, clearly not in a happy mood. "Well you seem over joyed." Tony really didn't seem happy and my comment really didn't cheer him up, living in the tower has really rubbed off on me though, the sarcasm practically flows. "I'm serious Halia he is bad news." I placed my book down and stood up. "Who are you even talking about?" now I was curious, Tony looked so worried, but not for himself, instead for me. "Look I know I'm new but I can handle myself, I'm a big girl now." I joked attempting to lighten the mood. "Tony, who?" He looked up and stared directly into my eyes. "Loki."

"As in take over New York, God of mischief, kneel!" Wasn't he supposed to be locked in a cell on Asgard. "Yes." His voice a lot more serious than mine.

"Why would you agree to that?"

"I don't really have a choice, unless I want to make enemies with the king of Asgard."

"The king of Asgard would rather Loki stay here? On Earth?" wouldn't it make more sense to have him kept in his own castle or whatever they have. "He is supposed to try earn forgiveness from humans." like that's going to happen. "And he really believes that Loki will be able to achieve that goal?"

"Why else would he send him?" Tony obviously didn't think it would happen either but thought Thor's father would. "So he would be stuck somewhere where no one cares for him, sounds more like a punishment to me, not a rehabilitation." I almost felt bad for the God. Tony nodded his head in agreement. "Possibly, but I guess that's good, after all the pain he inflicted he deserves something back."

"Well one good thing came out of it." Tony shook his head in confusion. "my powers?"

"Halia if you didn't have your powers you would be living a normal life, the one you deserved."

"But I would of never had to chance to meet all of you and help the Earth from possible dangers." I smile and Tony and he smiles back. "Just promise me you will stay away from him he is very dangerous."

"What did I just say, Earths dangers."

"Halia?"

"Ok fine, I promise." he pulls me in for a hug. "Good, now come on Steve's making dinner."

"So what do you all want to do, we could watch a movie?"

"Isn't Point break on his way now, and considering who he is brining will we even be able to finish it."

"Tony will you please relax a bit, none of us want him here but it's happening so lets just get over it." An outburst from Steve that's very unusual, but he's right. "Steve's right Tony, Halia what movie do you want to watch?" And it appears Nat thought the same. "What about Wonder Woman? I love DC."

"Perfect, Bruce would you mind switching it on?" Nat smiled at Bruce which seemed to have a slight affect on him. "Sure."

"Great, Tony just focus on the movie." Steve and Tony bickering will always be one of the most entertaining things in the compound but this time it wasn't that enjoyable, Tony looked genuinely worried and Steve looked worried for Tony. At this rate Tony was going to go mad, hopefully he starts calming down. Well at least everyone else was chill, or maybe they are just a lot better at hiding it. In Natasha's case that wouldn't surprise me, Clint maybe, Bruce no, and he seems fine. Ok Halia stop stressing and watch the film, everyone is going to think your stressing out.

"I'm convinced Steve Trevor was based on Steve." I mean come on a war, goes down in a plane to save everyone, tragic love story, aaaand Steve doesn't seem impressed, just rolling his eyes. "She could be right Capsicle." Finally Tony's humour. "You are all ridiculous."

"But you don't deny it?" Everyone definitely agrees, and starts laughing, Steve even has a smirk, but is still shaking his head. "We could literally sue them." Tony joked, grabbing a drink from the bar. "Captain America sues Wonder Woman, I can see the headlines." Clint added getting up to join Tony.

"Sir Thor and Loki have arrived." Jarvis announces.

Silence, the laughter stops, faces fall, the elevator pings, the doors slowly open.

There he is the man or God they all despise, someone I should despise, yet I feel myself being drawn towards him. No I cant think this, but his eyes dart towards me, his beautiful blue eyes, shut up Halia, you shouldn't have these feelings. Why do all the good looking ones have to be complete maniacs.
