Halia's POV:

"Friends I have returned from Asgard!" Thor's voice booms into my ears. "Well we were expecting you." Tony looks very unimpressed to see Loki, understandably, Loki appearing to have similar feelings towards Tony. "Then I believe my father has explained everything." Thor's tone turned more stern. "Yes he has." Steve cuts in. "Good." Thor smiles. "I think we need to go over some ground rules." Steve turns his attention from Thor towards Loki. "Of course." Loki's tone sarcastic and his face twisted into a mischievous smirk.

No POV:

After Steve finished his longwinded list of rules, and the avengers had all started to relax at the idea of Loki living in the compound, Thor decided to show his brother around. "How long do you think it's going last?" Nat leaned down next to Halia and whispered so only she could here. Halia matching the tone "How long do I think what will last?" Her face turned to confusion. "Everyone being so chilled out." Halia shook her head, her mouth twisting into a small smirk. "Maximum a week until everyone looses it, an hour for Tony." Nat laughs at her remark. "What are you two scheming?" Clint joins the conversation. "How long do you think it will take for Tony to completely loose it?" Halia turns her attention towards Clint.

In that moment Thor returned with Loki back to the lounge room closely followed by Steve. "Just so we are clear that will stay on permanently." He gestures to the piece of metal around Loki's wrist, then turned to everyone in the room. "None of you are to remove it."
"Ever" Tony walks into the room with Bruce finishing Steve's sentence. "What does it do?" Halia questioned them. "It's designed to block any of his magical abilities." Bruce joins Nat, Clint and Halia on the couches. Tony walks towards Loki and Thor as Steve decides to follow in Bruce's footsteps, Tony reaches for the metal on Loki's wrist to check it's ok but pulls away. "Brother please don't argue, it's already on now anyway." Thor attempts to calm his brother and to his surprise Loki follows his request. He stretches out his arm towards Tony rolling his eyes, and turning his attention elsewhere, however Thor still saw it as a great improvement considering it had only been a few hours.
"Right Nat you ready?" Clint lifted himself from the couch and started walking out to the room. "Oh yeah sorry Halia I forgot about training with Clint we can do it tomorrow?"
"That's fine, actually do you mind if I come and watch you practice for a while, I wanted to look for some tips as I am not as skilled in the combat area." She laughed, attempting to make a basic fighting stance with her hands. "Actually Halia I was wondering if you would come down to the lab to see if we can work on your powers, I noticed something interesting when I was looking back over our tests."
Bruce seemed very interested in whatever he had found, and although she really wanted Nats help she also really wanted to find out about what Bruce was talking about for herself.
"Oh sure, maybe another time then" she nodded towards Nat. Clint and Natasha both smiled at her before leaving together.

Loki's POV:

"That's fine, actually do you mind if I come and watch you practice for a while, I wanted to look for some tips as I am not as skilled in the combat area."

Not skilled in combat? So there is another enhanced being on this pathetic team, what power could she possess.

"Actually Halia I was wondering if you would come down to the lab to see if we can work on your powers, I noticed something interesting when I was looking back over our tests."

So they don't even know what she is, how comforting, I'm living with five beings that hate me, no six she probably heard of my actions and despises me just the same. Oh and Thor. How am I getting out of this one.

No POV:

A few hours later of Bruce running tests on Halia they learned something new within her powers. While she can travel hours through time with no consequences which still confuses many of the team, and she can hear thoughts which she has suppressed due to privacy reasons, they discovered something very interesting. When testing her powers through jumping minutes at a time, something happened Bruce lost her signal for exactly two hours which sometimes is completely normal but what was odd is that when Halia returned she thought she already had.
"I don't know Bruce I tried to jump two minutes into the future, I landed in the kitchen, I checked the time on the clock to make sure i had done it then I jumped back."
"Jumped back to what?"
"Well I thought it was you, it was you, we were speaking then all of a sudden I felt a rush of power then I came back here."
"You were speaking to me?"
"Wait what's your last memory of me?"
"I checked your vitals then we called the time then you jumped."
"So I jumped into the future, jumped back to you which wasn't you and then I was brought back to you?!"
"I really don't know what to tell you, this other me, what did he say?"
"It was pretty normal, he was just running over my progress, then something was telling it was wrong then my powers just acted without me." She gestured to her hands that started to glow a light blue. "That it was wrong?" Bruce was intrigued and very confused. "Like I didn't belong there, like it was the wrong place."
"Like you where in the wrong timeline." A voice from the door entered the conversation.
"What?" Halia's brown's furrowed
"There where myths on Asgard that some witches could travel through the multiverse, of course they are only myths but there where stories of women that shared similar experiences that you just stated."
"Travel through the multiverse?" Halia laughed expecting him to say it was a joke. "Your telling me I spoke to a different version of Bruce that was basically the same?"
"You travel through time yes? Don't your think it has consequences, travelling through time in minutes could change the smallest of things resulting in different versions of us, the smaller the difference the more similar they are."
Halia's face was in complete shock, Bruce listened intently considering the possibility's. "Brother who are you terrorising in here?" Thor laughed trying to lighten the mood.
"He was telling us about myths." Halia said bluntly
Loki looked hurt like he had been ignored. "And the possibility that they might be true." He added.
"What?" Thor didn't know what he had walked in on. "Perhaps but I'm not a witch."
"How did you attain your powers then?"
"You."
