After making sure he was only unconscious, I ran as fast as I could with a broken arm and cuts all over my arms and face. As I ran, I could see people looking at me weirdly, but I didn't care. I just knew that I had to get back to Wanda. While running, I noticed a spot in Central Park that my parents used to take me when I was younger. I also noticed a toy store that my mom and I would pass by every day when she would pick me up from kindergarten, and I remembered that I made her stop in there every day so that I could look around. All the while, I was clutching my right arm and trying to wrap the cuts on both arms as well as I could. Blood was dripping from the wound on my forehead all the way down my face and off of my chin.

You might be wondering how I was doing. Well, by the time that I got back to the school I couldn't feel my feet, my cuts were throbbing, my head was killing me, and my arm felt like it wanted to commit suicide. Also, a gang wanted to kill me, Wanda was going to ground me, and I had probably blown my chances of getting into Midtown. Other than that I'm fine. Just fine. This time when entering the school I didn't register all of the things that I did before. If I had, my head would've probably exploded. My mind was only on two things: telling Wanda what had happened and not dying while doing it.

When I got to the cafeteria, they were both sitting where they had been when I stormed out. I burst through the door, the sound echoing throughout the whole room. Wanda was the first to see me, and when she did she ran to me and tackled me in a hug.

"Ow!" I winced because of my arm.

Up until that moment she hadn't noticed my numerous injuries. She rubbed her hand up and down my cuts and asked, "What happened? You were gone for two hours! I was worried about you! EXPLANATION NOW!" she yelled so loud that I was sure that birds outside were scared away.

So I told her everything that had happened after I stormed out. I told her about my walk and going to my old house. I also told her about the gang led by Caleb Morgan. All leading up to me stabbing him in the shoulder and barely getting back to the school without passing out. While telling her this, she cleaned and bandaged my wounds, and she put my arm in a makeshift sling.

"I'm sorry that I left. I just got so angry when he asked me about my parents. I just couldn't take it. Although, if I had stayed here, then I could've avoided a lot of pain."

"It's ok. I get it. I'm just glad that you're ok. It could've been a lot worse."

"She's right, you know," Morita stated. That was the first time that I had noticed him in the room since I had entered, which had been a while. "From what you told us, it could've been ten times worse. You could've been killed by this Caleb that you told us about."

Seeing him here sent a whole new wave of panic into my mind. When I yelled at him and stormed out I probably ruined any small chance I had for getting into this school. I knew coming here that this was my last chance because every other school was full and since this is New York, if a school says that it's full then that means that they'll let you in for twice or three times the normal price. Although in truth, I was more worried about Wanda grounding me than not getting in. She is scary, you guys.

"Look, I know that this is probably a bad time, but I gotta ask," I said to Principal Morita. "Did I get in or not?"

He pondered it for a moment as if trying to find the right words, "Well, I like the fire that you have. I can see it in your eyes. Also, you wear your heart on your sleeve, but you're tough. I can tell that you don't really let people in easily, and that they have to earn your trust. You have anger issues, most likely as a result of what happened to your parents. And lastly, you are the smartest applicant that I have interviewed since Peter Parker. I am happy to say that classes will start on August twentieth. Welcome to Midtown!" he announced so loudly that it startled me a little.

"I'm in?! WANDA! Did you hear that? I'm in!" I shouted with so much excitement that I forgot all about my injuries, and I started jumping up and down. "Ow, ow, ow!"
