Chapter 8

Doyoung, Arrie, and I were sitting down at the sand surrounded by tables filled with foods and drinks that are meant for us. Haruto excused himself to take care of something also to get his date for this trip. That made me a bit nervous, it's going to be the first time I will meet his girl and I don't know how to act but I'm sure it will go well, right? There's nothing to worry about, I hope.

It made me left out since I am the only one in this trip who doesn't have a date. I knew I should have just stayed at home.

Picking up the blue lemonade in front of me, I saw a group of guys walked pass by us. I didn't help but notice how handsome they were, but even so if I were to compare them to Haruto, he would still be the most handsome.

The outfit I wore is just a simple shorts and white shirt, while Doyoung was shirtless showing his abs that he worked on for years. He bragged about that to me earlier when we changed clothes. Arrie was wearing a white short and a bikini top. She actually looks good wearing it. No wonder my friend is in love with her.

Doyoung asked her if they could walk around and she agreed leaving me behind, alone. The guy didn't even bother to bring me even when Arrie offered to join them but I wouldn't want to ruin their moment. It might be a chance for Doyoung to confess to her.

I placed the blue lemonade on the small table and stood up to walk around too. Only alone though.
I went near to the shore where the waters could reach and splash my feet. Not gonna lie it is very relaxing here.

I saw a guy who was shirtless ran towards my direction, he came from the water so he was wet. He didn't notice me and just walked straight to his stuffs that were placed under a tree where it is nice and cool. My walk became slow and I was focused on staring at him.

Using his towel he dried he dried himself up. I don't know why am I staring at him, maybe because I find him attractive? He is handsome, he has a nice body. Abs. Am I interested in him? 

No way.

My gaze on him ended when I heard someone talk behind my back. I turned around to see who it was and it's Haruto. Alone? Where is the girl?

"What are you doing?" his face was serious even his tone.

"I was planning for a walk." I said, "Doyoung and Arrie wanted to have their moment so I was left alone here."

"You don't want to swim?"

I shook my head, "Maybe later when it's almost night time. I don't want to have sun burn."

"There are sunscreens over there. Want me to help you apply it?" he offered.

"No thanks. I'd rather swim in the night anyways."

"If you say so." he was silent for a bit before he spoke again, "My friend isn't coming. She said she had a call and there was an emergency so she had to go back."

Sounds suspicious though, but I didn't want to ask more about it.

I pouted, "I was looking forward on meeting her though." Were you, really? "Is it okay with you though? It could have been your chance to bond with her."

"There are plenty of days for that. Don't worry about it. Let's just enjoy this trip." he placed his arms around my shoulder and let me to where our spot was.

The two were still not present so we decided to go to the hut where special drinks are served. I was not going to drink though Haruto asked for my company so I just went with him. 

The hut was an open area, there were chairs surrounding the bar counter and tables made by wood near the place where the customers could sit down.

Haruto and I sat down on one of the vacant tables and immediately a server went to us and asked for our orders.
