Chapter 10

When I woke up, Haruto wasn't on my side anymore.
I wonder where that guy went?

I sat on the bed and stretched my arms up in the air. It was a nice sleep, one of the best so far.

The words of Haruto earlier replayed on my mind, making my lips slowly form a smile. I never imagined Ruto saying those ever in my life. It made me relaxed and happy.

I was about to get out of the bed when Haruto showed up with a tray filled with delicious foods. He looked at me with a bit of embarrassment that made me chuckle. Finally, he walked closer to me and placed the tray in front of me.

"Eat." It was short, but his voice was calm and soft not like his usual tone.

I looked at the foods he brought. Sliced fruits, sandwich, and blue lemonade. There was a cola but I guess he brought that for himself.

He looked at me waiting for me to eat them, I smiled at him before digging in.

First starting with the sandwich. It was a chicken sandwich and it is so delicious! Did he make this?

"Is there something else you want?" he asked me.
His sitting position on the bed is too cute to see. Sitting in an indian sit that it made him look like an obedient student.

I shook my head, "These are enough. Thank you."

After I finished all the foods he had brought for me, I took a quick shower before we both went down to meet up with Doyoung and Arrie. We spotted the two sitting near the shore, close to each other. Looks like my friend had made his move on her.

I was about to come close to them but Haruto stopped me by holding my hand. He motioned me to follow him, despite being confused I did follow him. We walked away from our friends and went to another direction.

While following my friend, we're both quiet. I can't think of anything to say, I might lash out on him about what he did earlier. Still haven't moved on from that.

To be honest, I was kinda harsh to Ruto earlier. I could have just talked to him in a nice way and not shout at him. I was over the line.

The two of us kept on walking in silence, it was already night time and the beach was quiet since there were less visitors around. The sound of the small waves are clear, the night sky is a beautiful sight to see. Everything was at peace, well not everyone.

We ended up in front of a stone wall which means we were at the end of the resorts' area, just when I thought we'll finally stop walking, Haruto turned around and found a way to stand on top of the wall. I had second thoughts if I will follow him or not but in the end I followed him once again.

There was a narrow lane at the side of the wall that leads to another beach. Both of us went to that way and sat down at the clear sand looking at the water. I could see the reflection of the moon and it looks amazing.

I felt a bit cold when the wind passed by then suddenly I felt a piece of thick jacket wrapped around my body. Haruto gave his jacket...

After making sure I was covered he sat down again beside me and faced in front.

"Y-you'll get cold." I managed to say to him.

He flashed a small smile, "As long as you're not cold, I'll be okay."

That left me speechless. Damn he is good with his words. Now I really feel bad for being mad at him.

"I'm sorry..."

He looked at me with a confused face, "Sorry for what?"

"Sorry for shouting at you and being mad." I hold on to the jacket and wrapped it around me even more. I still feel cold despite wearing it.

"Come here," Haruto said, "You still feel cold?"

I nodded as a reply, "But its fine. I can handle it."

He shook his head and stood up then went to my back and sat down. I felt his arms around my waist and hugged me from behind. I couldn't move because of our position.

This is not the first time we hugged each other but we never ended up in this position! This is new.

"You feel warm now?" I could feel his breath by my ear and it sent me shivers. The impact this guy has.

"Why are you so stiff? Relax will you? I feel like hugging a statue."

I tried to calm down and be comfortable, placing my hand on top of Haruto's.

"You know, I understand why you were mad. No need to apologize to me I deserve it anyways." He placed his forehead on my shoulder and continued, "Are you...still mad?"

"Not anymore. Let's forget about what happened. I don't like being mad at you."

He sighed, "Not gonna lie Junkyu, I was hurt when you shouted at me. I felt sad." he complained like a child.

I chuckled and ruffled his hair using my right hand, "I'm sorry. What can I do to make it up for the big baby?"

"Tsk. Between the two of us you are the baby."

"Now that is so not true!" I exclaimed.

"You always pout, you're short even though you are older than me, and you're clingy."

I pouted, "Why do you even have to mention the height."

He shrugged, "I mean it is true."

"Yah! I was taller than you before!"

His eyebrows furrowed, "That was before. Why focus on the past? Of course we'll be different when we grow up. We were kids and now teenagers. So accept it because you can't do anything about it. I'm taller than you."

"Yeah yeah." I rolled my eyes and he just laughed at me.

He pinched my cheeks, "Don't worry, you're a cute small baby."

I held his hands making him stop pinching me. "I know I'm a baby, tch."

"Ah you're so cute....." he rested his head on my back and hugged me more.

This feels....nice.

Suddenly the thought of Haruto's girl came in my mind. Who's that girl? I'm curious who she is. Is she someone in the same status like Ruto? She's a lucky person.

"Ruto..."

"Hmn?"

I pursed my lips before continuing, "About the girl..." 

"Girl? Who are you talking about?"

"The girl you were suppose to bring here." I sighed, "What is she like? Is she like you?"

"Like me?" he started playing with my hair, "How would you describe me?"

"Well, for starters you're rich, humble, and kind. You're also caring and strong. That's what I like about you."

I felt him stop playing with my hair for a second and I couldn't feel his breathe like he went stiff. "....like about me?"

I slowly nodded, "You're a great friend Ruto and I'm sure that if you and the girl would end up together she would be very lucky! You're a perfect guy."

Why does my heart feel heavy while thinking of the thought that Haruto and the girl would end up together? Shouldn't I be happy for them? For him?
Why do I feel.....jealous?

"Yeah....they will be lucky."

The atmosphere was cold and everything was silent for a moment till I said something to him.

"Ruto, will you promise me something?"

"What is it?"

I closed my eyes and let myself rest from his warm body, "Don't forget about me please."

"I won't....I'll never."
