A few moments later: 

 "How are you feeling sweetheart?!" The doctor sweetly asked as she stood by my bed. I was experiencing a variety of emotions, including uncontrollable cramping, panic, and starvation, as I hadn't eaten in several hours. Not to mention the awful pain I was in.

" Isn't the baby supposed to be born three weeks later, Why am I so early doctor?" I worriedly asked as she checked the machines connected to my body. 

" I know, but I already told you that baby may be out before or after their due time," she answered looking at me. 

"Here's your water baby," Vinnie stated as he came into the room holding a water bottle before kissing me on the cheek. He seemed nervous, no, he seemed horrified. As though he were sobbing, his eyes were red and swollen. But he's doing his best to conceal the expressions on his face. " Is everything okay doctor?" he asked once more as he took one of my hands in his.

" Hopefully yes, contractions haven't started yet! heart specialists on their way here; the tests we took are almost ready and also the baby is coming! what is more precious than this huh?" she answered with a huge smile on her face. " Have you decided a name yet?" she asked again looking at both of us. 

" Yes, Ryan!" I answered trying to forget the pain I was feeling on my back and my lower parts. 

" That's a sweet name!" she squealed. 

As a large abrupt ache in my back and lower abdomen hit me, I tightened my grasp on Vinnie's palm. There was also a strange sensation of a wave traveling from the top to the bottom of my uterus. It's similar to period cramps, but it's a lot worse. 

" What is it, baby?" he asked as he noticed how hard I'm holding his hand. 

" I- I don-. ." I was about to explain but a loud scream of pain interrupted me from finishing my sentences causing the doctor and Vinnie to freak out. 

" Okay, now I need you to relax and listen to me okay?" the doctor calmly said and I nodded my head. " Your contractions, have started since your water broke, but it took a while to became stronger, closer together and regular. . . your cervix will dilate from six to ten centimeters, also you may feel nauseated. I should've told you this since they brought you here but I was waiting for the contractions to get stronger," she explained before asking Vinnie to place both of my feet on the metal bars.

My mother and the doctor who used to examine my heart situation arrived into the room a few minutes later, ready to deliver my son. Meanwhile, Vinnie was holding my hand with one hand and massage my forehead with the other.

Huge pain in my chest was added to the list, as one of the nurses injected a catheter needle in the lower part of my back, only to ease the pain. At the same time, I noticed that my baby's movements inside of me were becoming quicker as if he was preparing to emerge into the world.

The doctors were saying lots of stuff I and Vinnie will never understand, " I love you," he softy whispered before placing a simple kiss on my lips.
