The Boss. (Childe x Reader)

The meeting room was cold and ominous, the A.C. blasting almost to the max temperature, and the two intimidating men who sat across from you were quietly were taking their time observing the documents that laid before them. The atmosphere was quiet, with no one mouthing a word to each other or writing anything on their papers. You gripped your ink pen tightly, and began clicking the top up and down out of boredom, ending the silence and overtaking the loudness of the noisy A.C. You swore you were going to freeze to death before the meeting was going to end, with the clock ticking closer to the lunch break and the meeting not being anywhere near conclusion.

After finally what seemed like an everlasting period of awkwardness, Zhongli looked up from his documents to look into your eyes.

"I finished your schedule plan for next week. Take a look, and inform me of any concerns if you have any."
He handed you the weekly calendar sheet, each box ranging from Monday to Friday filled extensively with his neat, elegant handwriting. You skimmed your assigned duties, and everything seemed to work accordingly with your time until you came across your given duties for Friday.

The task which Zhongli had assigned you was involved with Childe, the other boss of the company sitting to the right of Zhongli's chair across from the long table. You have rarely been given business duties with higher ups, most of them being with your co workers or by yourself. To be working with one of the two most highly regarded bosses in the company was an honor, a rare opportunity given to those who've exceeded the expectations. However, you were still a relatively new employee, and hadn't gotten the proper chance to formally meet with either of the bosses until today.

Anxious of how you'd be able to handle such a big responsibility, you asked Mr. Zhongli about the details.

"Ah, Sir," you spoke, "are you sure that I'm good enough for the task with Mr. Childe on Friday?"He adjusted his glasses to fit on his nose, and replied,
"Of course. You've exceeded our expectations quicker than I've expected, and have surpassed your colleagues. I'm confident in your abilities, and I believe you and Mr. Childe will have perfect chemistry to work together efficiently."

You looked to the red head, who was sitting tall in his seat with his arms at the back of his head. The gray and red suit which he wore complimented him greatly, and he wore a prideful and attractive smile on his face as he winked to you charmingly, making you slightly flustered.

"I'm Childe. It's quite a pleasure to meet you. I think you and I will get along perfectly." The tone in which he spoke was undeniably sensual, and he looked at you with an expression that screamed "I can't wait to be able to work with you, just the two of us alone."

"It's.. a pleasure to meet you too, Mr. Childe." you responded, distracted by his voice and looks. You shook your head, and focused back on the matter at hand.

"Do you have any more concerns?" Zhongli asked.
"No. That was all. Thank you, Mr. Zhongli, for the schedule."He nodded, and finally concluded the meeting.

Zhongli exited the building first, and you were about to leave before Childe had stepped in front of you and blocked the door. Confused, you tried to negotiate with him as you wanted to get to lunch already.

"Can I help you, Mr. Childe?" you asked, wondering what is it that was so important.
"Sorry, but I couldn't help but use this break to maybe get to know each other better? How does that sound?"
"Ah.. sure, why not? In that case, let's go outside so we can-"
"No." he suddenly said, quickly ending your sentence. "I mean right here, right now. Just the two of us, hmm?"

You looked at him, and grew anxious as you realized that by his words and his expression, he really wanted this moment to himself. He wanted all of you to himself. He wanted nothing more but to spend this short break with you, alone.

"How about it? I want to learn more about you, and what you're capable of as the leading employee." He asked again, clearly flirting with you. Unable to escape his charms, you agreed to spend your time with the boss.
"But what if someone realizes we aren't out there?" you asked nervously, not wanting people to know about this interaction.

He grabbed you by the waist suddenly, and pulled your eyes into his deep, hypnotizing blue gaze. Your lips began to part slightly out of reflex, ready for any sudden actions, and you looked back intimately into his eyes as you slowly wrapped your arms around his neck. Your breaths filled the room and your bodies were close, and the warm intimacy only grew as the seconds passed, it felt like the savory moment was going to last for eternity and you didn't want it to end.

He smirked subtlety, and whispered closely into your ear, his words sending chills down your spine,

"I'm your boss. No one will ever find out, dear."
