You ever had a dream that your phone was ringing and tried looking for it but couldn't find it then you had to actually wake up because the ringing was annoying you? No? Okay. Just Mikey then.

Mikey blinked one too many times before taking a deep breath. He realized the ringing was actually real. He turned his head right seeing his phone lit up the familiar but annoying iPhone ringtone reaching his ears. He sighed rubbing at his eyes then extended his hand reaching out for the device.

Every time he tried customizing the ringtone, his fiance put it back to default. Only to annoy him that is. Mikey just stopped doing it all together.

"Hello?" He croaked out answering the call without checking the caller ID.

"Face time. ASAP." The person on the other end said before hanging up. Mikey didn't even get the chance to react as the face time call started to come through. He removed the device from his ear squinting his eyes at it.

Mikey groaned darting his eyes to the top of the screen.

2:38 a.m.

"Fawk." He hissed answering the call. He turned over on his back waiting on it to connect.

"El oh el. I thought you was sleep." His fiance's face popped up on the screen all smiles. Mikey rolled his eyes already annoyed. The smile faded however. "Aye dude, where you at? I can't see you." The man continued to look into the camera. Mikey rolled his eyes. He hadn't turned on the light. "Mike-"

"Nigga hold on." Mikey grumbled placing his phone down then walking over to the light switching it on. He walked back to the bed grabbing his device putting himself in the camera frame.

"Hmm there is yoh sexy ass." His fiance resumed smiling. Mikey groaned rubbing his eyes.

"Man, why did you wake me at 2 in the morning Joshua?" He questioned leaning back on the bed still holding the phone up. His fiance smacked his teeth.

"Can't even say no damn hello. Anywayyyyyys I'm tryna make pancakes. What happens after I put the greese on the pan?" His fiance's voice filtered through before the camera was flipped to a stove with a pan on it.

Mikey straight faced his phone unable to believe that this was the reason he was woken up at the ungodly hour.

"I know you not serious Jay."

"What you mean? I'm serious. What do I do next?" Joshua spoke up flipping the camera back to himself then propped his phone up somewhere. He looked back at his fiance expectantly. Mikey stared back face blank but annoyed.

"You know what time it is?"

"Yeah. It's-" Joshua checked the time. "-2:43 why?" Mikey clicked his tongue at that stupid question.
