"Hey you! You! Hey you! You can't slay demons! You're too small!"

Again, that demon had found it's way to crawl up into Aoi's dream. She didn't think much of the dream though. Whatever it says is bullshit. She dressed herself in her Demon Slayer Corps uniform. It was a navy blue one. She then replaced one of the clips on her pigtail with the wisteria infused one that Shinobu-sama had given her.

She walked out of her room, telling herself that she could do it, she could kill that demon.

Inosuke walked over to her, informing Aoi that their mission was near a small village. It would be around a two hour walk so it wasn't that far.
It was around dawn and they soon left.

They made it to the next town and it was very windy there. Aoi was cold, she turned over to Inosuke who was always shirtless.

"Are you not cold? You're going to get sick." She told him.

"Eh!? Why would I be cold? I'm always fighting like this and I haven't caught a cold yet."

They stared at each other in silence.

"Let's start running there." Inosuke added

"What!? No!" Aoi yelled. She didn't feel like running. Her legs were also a bit sore.

"K then."

They continued to walk in silence. Around an hour had past since they talked. They should be at the village in around half an hour.

"Sqwauk! Sqwauk! Hurry! Hurry! People are in danger! Get to the village immediately!" The Kasugai Crow called.

The two started running. People were in danger. They must get to the demon as soon as they could.

They had arrived at the village. They saw a demon about to eat a smaller child. From the back, they could see the demon had purple hair and it wore a brown striped kimono.

It was him.

It was definite.

Aoi quickly ran towards the child to snatch them and put them over to the side.

"Run away!" She yelled out to the child, whilst turning back towards the demon.

"Oh my! I have a visitor! Nope! Two actually! Ooh, Demon Slayers, I see. So this will be enjoyable now! I'm Mahri! Nice to meet you." In a sly voice, the demon spoke.

"We'll kill you bastard. Don't underestimate us!" Inosuke made sure he heard him.

Inosuke then ran up to the demon
Beast Breathing Fourth Fang: Slice n Dice!

The demon dodged him. He was pretty fast.

"Too slow." The demon reminded him.

Water Breathing, First Form: Water Surface Slash!
Aoi had called. Her blade caused only a slit in the demon's arm.

Water Breathing, Second Form: Water Wheel!

She leaned over, slicing the demon's head in half.

"Shit. I meant to aim for the neck!" Aoi thought to herself. Was she going to fail like this?

Beast Breathing! Fifth Form: Crazy Cutting!

Inosuke ran towards the demon. Slicing his hands off and leaving slits in his face, which appeared to have an orange triangle below each eye.

The demon's head was seeming to form back together and his hands slowly reappearing.

"Aw nice try little girl, but I've already encountered a  breath user that used water. And you, boar, your technique isn't really that thrilling." The demon said, who did he think he was?

"Oi pig face, do you really think you're a proper Demon Slayer? Well... you're really not. Your breath style is stupid. You're literally just using your swords. There's no thrill in it. You know, you literally scare people so why would they think you could protect them, aye?"

"How dare you talk shit about m-!"

Inosuke had fallen to the floor, it seemed the demon had made him fall sleep.

"Nighty Night. Sweet Dreams." The demon called over to him.

"You bastard!" Aoi yelled and ran over to the demon.

Water Breathing! First Form: Water Surface Slash!

It wasn't enough. He predicted her moves and dodged.

"Hey little girl, you know... I've been messing with you in your dreams because..."

Aoi felt her heart skip a beat.

"I was the one who killed your family." The demon said calmly then started giggling.

Blood.

That's what she saw on that day. Blood was everywhere. As she hid in the corner of her house, scared and not knowing what to do. The demon had slaughtered her family. Before the sun rose, it had run away. After that... a beautiful lady with a sword had come and took Aoi away and had her stay at the Butterfly Mansion with her and her sister.

Memories had started flowing back to her. She was furious. This demon had ruined her life. No. Many lives'! He had to die. He just had to!

"Aw. Feeling weak? You're such a disappointment. I bet your family is furious with you up in hell. If you want to see them, I can bring you there! Free of charge too! But then again... they might not want to see you. You're a disappointment to them! Oops! I've already said that. Well, just reminding you!

All that training. All that training to pass Final Selection to be brought down like this? How could she let that happen? And no. Her family wasn't disappointed in her. They're not like that. She's trying her best. And her family wouldn't be up in hell. They were very kind people. Kinder then that asshole in front of her. What was wrong with Inosuke? Was it Blood Demon Art? How did he fall asleep? He answered the demon's words right? Maybe... that's how it activated. She better not answer. No matter all the words she wants to scream. She can't. All the words she wants to use to prove her point against the demon. She can't. What is she going to do? All her attacks are known by the demon. It wouldn't cause any damage. A scratch the most. Inosuke wake up! Please! What is needed to be done for you to wake up?  Water breathing wasn't really a suit for her in this fight. If water breathing won't help. What will? This... this was troubling.

Okay but I can't wait to write the next chapter   ᕕ(˘◡ ˘)ᕗ I don't like that demon. He is stupid and ugly. K byez 🦕
