(A/N: I just got this idea from watching some TikTok videos with a sound about the one bed trope. (I couldn't put the TikTok link here) I'm not too sure how this will go but I hope you like it.)
With the start of Nationals slowly approaching, the Karasuno boys volleyball team had been preparing for their trip to the training camp. Now they were finally on there way there and they couldn't wait to get to volleyball practice. After a short half hour of Takeda driving them, they arrived arrived at the camp where they would be staying for the next couple of days. They had practice matches all afternoon and shortly after had something to eat before deciding to start to set up the room where they'd be sleeping.
Most of the team had gotten ready for bed while Hineta and Kagayama snuck out to practice their quick attacks some more. They practiced for about an hour or so before it got too dark outside and they wouldn't be able to find their way back to their room around the training camp. Once they got back to the room where they were all staying, they got ready for bed before running into a big problem.
All of the others were already in there own spectate trading camp beds (I honestly don't even know what to call them but then look like they are just sleeping on top of a blanket in the training camp episodes) and there was only one left. Daichi suddenly noticed this and the look that Kagayama and Hineta had on their faces. "Sorry guys", he says "there weren't enough beds. Looks like you guys have to share the bed for tonight". They both looked at each other and put their hands on their necks, slightly rubbing them while feeling embarrassed. "I mean, it's only for one night." Hineta replies. "Yeh, I guess so. But don't get too close to me", Kagayama states. "What?", Hineta argues back, "why do you have to make everything so awkward?" "Me?", Kagayama almost yells. They argued for a bit while the others just make comments about how typical they are. "Alright then guys, lest get some sleep", Daichi says interrupting their arguing. "Yes of course, sorry" the two say in union.
Everyone else lays down to go to sleep after the lights are turned off, while Kagayama and Hineta lay there awkwardly. They wait until they were sure that everyone else was asleep before they whispered to each other, trying to make their situation less awkward. "Hey, Kagayama?", Hineta whispered. "Yeh?" "I think we should probably turn over and face the other way from each other, just so that it makes things less awkward for us both." Only then did Kagayama realise just how awkward their situation really was. "Oh, yeh, sure." "Okay, good night Kagayama." "Good night Hineta." The two fells asleep after a few short minutes and slept through out the rest of the night.
When morning arrived, the two boys were awoken by the sound of Nishynoya and Tanaka laughing at Tsukishima who seemed to be taking pictures of the two boys who had just woken up to find themselves in each other's arms. They quickly pulled apart from each other while the others laughed even harder. Tsukishima had raked photos of the two and the they asked to see his phone. "I have a better idea", he said and suddenly all of their phones went off. Tsukishima had sent a picture to the group chat of the small spiker resting his head in the tall setter's chest. During the night they had both rolled over and began cuddling each other. The two blushed as the others laughed again after letting a few "awwws" slip about. Kagayama froze not knowing what to do while Hineta got up and began chasing Tsukishima who was now laughing at how embarrassed to two were.
