Kuro woke up to the sound of his alarm. He picked up his phone to turn it off and sent his daily morning text to Kenma.
"Good morning Kitten." He loved calling Kenma that nickname.
"Morning. I thought I told you not to call me that."
He laughed at the smaller boy's response. He had given Kenma that nickname a few years ago now and used it everyday. He loved the way that Kenma blushed when he used it in front if their volleyball team mates. He had always found it adorable.
"Awww don't be like that. You know you like it."
He knew Kenma only pretended to dislike the nickname at times because he didn't tend to usually show much effection towards his boyfriend when other people were around.
"Yeh yeh, whatever Kuro."
Kuro laughed at the text before deciding to get up and get ready to head over to Kenma's house. He made sure to make two lots of food for breakfast, since he knew that the smaller boy probably hadn't eaten anything since the pot of ramen that he made last night. Once the food was cooked, he headed over to Kenma's house.
Kenma's parents had left town for the weekend and Kuro had his own spare key to Kenma's house so he unlocked the front door and once he had taken his shoes off he headed straight to Kenma's room. He opened Kenma's bedroom door to see Kenma sitting on his bed, playing on his switch with a blanket thrown around him. "Kenma!" Kuro called to him. "Huh?" The smaller boy looked up to see his boyfriend smiling at him. "Oh, hey", he said before looking back down at his switch. Kuro frowned. "Come on Ken Ken, you need to get up." He removed the blanket from around his boyfriend before picking him up and taking him to the kitchen. "Hey, what are you doing Kuro? Hey, I left my switch in there!" Kenma wined. "I made breakfast", Kuro replied, putting his boyfriend down on a chair.
After about 2 minutes of Kenma waiting for Kuro to get whatever he way getting from a bag he had bought over, he came over with two plates of food. "Eat up", he said, placing the plates onto the table. Kenma and Kuro ate breakfast rather quickly and took thief plates to the sink to wash up. "Thanks Kuro", Kenma said. "No problem", Kuro replied.
After that, the two spent all day playing video games while Kuro tried to make sure then Kenma was eating properly. When it was time for Kuro to head home, Kenma suggested that Kuro stayed the night. He agreed but headed home to quickly grab his clothes to sleep in. He grabbed one of his over sized t-shirts and some shirts to sleep in and some sweatpants and a hoodie to wear the next day. He also went to the store to buy Kenma's favourite snacks.
Once he arrived back at Kenma's house, he was instantly greeted by his boyfriend. He hugged Kenma and handed him the snacks. Kenma thanked him and rushed over to the couch to turn on the tv. They watched a movie for a while before Kuro decided that it was time for them to head to bed. The two headed to Kenma's room and Kuro got changed in the bathroom. He came out to fine Kenma sitting on his bed in an over sized t-shirt that was way too big for him and some shorts while playing on his switch. He smiled and joined his boyfriend on his bed.
After watching Kenma play games on his switch for about half an hour or so, he noticed how sleepy his boyfriend looked. "Okay Kenma, I think we should go to sleep now", Kuro said. Kenma tried to argue but let out a big yawn. "In a minute, I haven't finished my game yet Kuro", the smaller boy whined. Kuro sighed. "Okay, fine. You know I can't say no to you when you give me that look kitten", he said.
Kenma only took another 5 minutes to finish the level of his game before putting his switch away. Kuro turned off the lights and he felt Kenma put his arms around him. "You really are clingy when you get sleepy", Kuro said softly while pulling Kenma even closer. "Shut up Kuro", Kenma mumbled, embarrassed. "Your cute though", Kuro replied before lightly kissing his boyfriend on the forehead. "Night Kuro, I love you", Kenma mumbled sleepily. "Good night kitten, I Love you too Kenma", he said before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
