Everywhere he looked, there was blood and chaos. It was war. Screams filled the air as he burned the enemies, flying high above them in search of his love, his soul. His anxiety grew as he noticed she was not on the battlefield. He flew far ahead in search of her.

Suddenly, he felt nauseous. His head ached, but he thought it was fatigue, and that was when he felt his bond breaking with his love. It felt like they ripped his heart open with bare hands and burnt as he crashed down the canopy. His back arched as blood dripped from the trunk that was stuck behind. He pulled away with a scream, falling to his knees, wheezing.

Something was wrong, he thought when he heard her scream.

Not caring about his wounds, he flew up in his dragon form. Ahead in a clearing he saw a dragon, exactly like his, burned down and at its foot was her, bloodied and crying. He rushed forward, only to be thrown away by the shield protecting the area.

"Black magic," he growled, trying to break through the shield while watching her cry.

He felt a change in the power and saw her glowing. She was giving her soul to the burning dragon, personating him, so that it could live.

"No don't. I am here. He is a personate. Please don't give your soul!" He wailed but no one could hear him. He watched her give away her soul to save her love, but it was someone else. Blood dripped through her ears as she paled with time and in the end she faded into nothingness. Her soul flew towards the burning dragon in the hopes of saving its other half, but upon realizing it it not her other half, the soul burned away.

"SAPHIRA" Nero roared....
