The Devil is Pissed

Maddie's POV

After Justin and his mom left our house, I couldn't stop thinking about when we had our little moment an hour ago. I kept replaying it in my head, ''yes, very... very sweet.''

Knock knock!

''Come in,'' I tell my mom as I sit up from laying down. She enters with a smile and closes the door.

''So..." She starts, "how did you like them coming over?" She asks, leaning against my bed.

"Umm, it was alright."

"Alright? Did you not like Jenny? She's an nice woman, I may become friends with her eventually. I'm planning on having a girls night with her too." She says as her eyebrows are scrunched together.

"I mean, I like Jenny, yeah she's cool. But Justin, it was awkward."

"Oh really?" She asks again studying me.

"Yeah," I figit with the covers. "He's cool and ugh cute, but he isn't my type, which makes it weird." I sort of lie just to get my mom to make a decision of not to having him around.

She doesn't seem convinced and says, "nonsense. You just need to get to know him more. I'll have you two hang out sometime." I fake smile and nod. She leaves the room and I sigh. I fall back onto the covers and close my eyes.

"Hey girl!" Rain says running up to me and giving me a famous Rain hug. I grin and give her one back.

"Ready for school?" She asks as we link arms and start walking to the entrance. I nod and look around. The same people stand around in their usual spots and I roll my eyes. Such ridiculous, stupid people. How can they stand each other? We walk in and head straight to my locker. I place my skateboard in and grabs my Science book. We than head to hers, so she can get it as well.

Rain starts talking about something boring that were gonna be doing in Science class, but I don't pay attention. I space out and look around. Where's Justin?  I ask myself searching my surroundings. I look all ways and see no sign of him. I frown, wait frown? Why would I frown because of him? Maybe its because you like him! My mind tells me.

"Hey were you listening?" Rain asks nudging my shoulder. 

"Ugh, I-"

"Oh god, never mind. Let's just head to class." She sighs shaking her head.

I give her a sorry smile and keeps up with her. "O-"

Smack!

"Hey watch where you're going, you skater freak!" The devil says.

"Me? Did I get in your way princessa? Well I'm sorry, wait actually I'm not. You should watch where you're going Hayley." I say hatefully.

Lady's and gents, I introduce you to the devil, I mean Hayley. The blond b***h I was talking about earlier? Yeah, this is she. You must like her already, right? 

She scoffs and looks behind her at her two followers. One's named Square-butt. Wait that's not it, I think it's Tina? But I call her square-butt, cause' her a** is flat. She tries so hard, but she just can't get what god gave the unstuck-ups.

The other is Puke-Pie, or Polly. So unique right? Well I only call her Puke-Pie cause' she makes me wanna puke, isn't that obvious? Haven't you ever had that feeling about someone? Just wanting to puke because they discuss you?

"I would watch your mouth you pathetic, ugly, skater freak." She says and looks at me straight in the eye, as her blue ones burn through my skull.

"Or what?" I yell out. Rain does nothing, looking at me for my next move. A small crowd starts to gather around, as people whisper. I roll my eyes in my mind. Don't they have better things to do than stand around and be p*****s? Obviously not.

"Or what?" She repeats. She hands her bag to Puke-Pie and shoves me. People gasp and I laugh.

"A shove?" I say. "That's the best you got? You are so original Hayley, it's time you stop being a miss bossy b***h and we have someone do something." I say and go for a punch in the nose.

I hit her and she falls to the ground gasping and Square-butt gives her a hand and she yells, "you will get it you brat!" I catch her hands in time and twists her wrist. Using all I got, she starts to scream. People around us start to cheering and call out, 'Madd-ie! Madd-ie! Madd-ie!'

"AHHH! You f****r! Let me go!" She stomps on my shoe with her big frikking heel and I wince, letting her go. She makes the chance to grab my hair and I try to pull back.

As the cheering goes crazy, someone yelled out, "YOU TWO! STOP THIS INSTANT! EVERYONE LEAVE! MY OFFICE NOW!" Hayley lets go and I cough. The others leave and slowly the halls quiet down.

"Now," our principle Mrs. Frazer says sternly.

"But ma'am-" Hayley gets cut off.

"GO!" She says pushing us to her office. I roll my eyes and enter her office. Hayley scoffs and follows as well. When we enter, I take a seat and rub my face. I look at my hand and notice a small bit of blood. I glare at Hayley and she smirks.

"So..." Mrs. Frazer starts and takes a seat.

"It was her fault! She started being a bully when I accidentally bumped into her!" She says complaining, which makes me laugh and I rub my head.

"Is this-"

"What true? Hell no! The dumb blond is lying! She bumped into me and started to mess with me. If I didn't, I would have been in a way worse position right now." I say seriously.

She looks at Hayley than back at me. She decides, "I'll look at the tapes and see who's telling the truth." She clicks on her laptop and scrolls at the video. I look at Hayley and smirk, which causes her to glare and she crosses her arms.

"I see..." She says looking at me. Bout' time she saw who the real b***h is here.

"As of you Hayley," she says.

"Yes?" She asks sweetly. I scoff and roll my eyes.

"Detention 2 weeks. Dismissed." She says, then pushes us out.

I walk away and then I hear Hayley say, "what? Why me? What did I do?" I laugh and head to the bathroom. I put my bag on the counter and turns the water on, looking in the mirror and gagging. 

I look like s**t, I tell myself. I wash up then decide to pull out my phone and text a certain someone.

Hey Rain, ill be in class soon, wats up? M

Yea. Kinda in a good way. I can see the news tomorrow, 'Skater girl stands up to the schools queen and gives her a dose of her own medicine' u? R

I finish and puts my hair in a ponytail, then heads out. As I walk to Science, I see Hayley complaining to her followers by her locker. I laugh and she looks at me. I glare back and keeps on walking.

Well, looks like the devil is pissed. Oh well.
