THE FAINT PITTER-PATTER of the raindrops hitting the window glass could be heard from the young girl sat on her bed.
She stared out, letting out a huge sigh as she rested her head back, her favorite book in her hand while a cup of coffee on the night stand, steams spiralling out of it.
She loved how rain always made her feel calm. Maybe it was just by watching the raindrops fall to the ground, looking as beautiful as ever, or maybe just the peaceful sound they make when they hit a surface.
She had many fond memories in rain. She had played in rain for the first time with her father when her mother had been yelling in distant that they'll catch cold.
She had cried in rain for hours for the first time when she had a huge fight with her best friend and she had fallen out.
She had met that special someone in the rain while she had been crying.
She had her first kiss in the rain and it swelled up her heart when she recalled how perfect it looked.
Exactly like she had wanted her first kiss to be like. Lee Y/n loved books to death. She loved reading, all genres, mostly romatic and fantasy.
Naturally, as a reader and lover of books, she had imagined her whole life planned out, her dreams as big as those scenes in the books she likes.
Just like she had imagined her first kiss would be in rain, with the perfect guy and she'd cherish the moment forever.
It turned out to be true.
About the said boy, she grabbed her phone and sighed softly as she realised she hadn't gotten a text back yet. She knew he must be busy, so she set her phone aside and grabbed the cup of coffee, her fingers warm against the handle.
She averted her gaze back to where she had left, her mind drifting into a different world of royal princess and queens, a battle among themselves and their opponants.
She decided to call her prince later, for now, she needed to read.
