Y/N NERVOUSLY STEPS OUT OF THE LIFT, her anxiousness visible on her face. The lady by the front desk had given her a welcoming and warm smile, telling her she heard a lot about her from Taehyung.
And the man by the lift had given her a friendly smile too, immediately recognizing her and telling her it will be alright.
She was grateful for the strangers' wishes, it eased her a little. As she found the supposed conference room, she found Taehyung pacing outside.
Her breath got stuck in her throat. She felt so guilty for putting him in such situation, he'd have been smiling and focusing on his passion and not worrying by now.
As soon as he noticed her, Taehyung immediately pulled her in a warm hug, causing all her worries to ease. Y/n took in a deep breath, his scent comforting in many ways.
" It's going to be fine. " He whispered against her hair, " And it's not your fault. "
Y/n nods, too nervous to say anything. She didn't know what his company would say yet. What if...they told her to never see the boys again?
She brushed off the thoughts, finding herself to be too ridiculous. " Let's go in. "
Taehyung sighs and nods, pushing the door open and holding it till Y/n gets in. He followed, closing the door and bowing at everyone in the room.
Y/n felt a little relief as she saw only Manager Sejin who she knew and the CEO, Bang Shi Hyuk with the rest of the boys.
She took everyone's comforting smiles and manages to smile a little, introducing herself to the CEO.
" I'm aware, " the man simply smiles, " take a seat, Y/n-ssi. " She nervously sat and Taehyung chose to sit beside her, sighing softly as his heart thudded against his chest nervously.
Their contract didn't really have any dating ban, but he was worried over how the CEO might react over the negative attention that was going around.
" Pd-nim, we need to take immediate actions. If we delay the statement..."
" Yes, I suppose we have to, Sejin. What do all of you suggest? " the CEO faces the rest of the boys, who tense up. Namjoon sighs softly, " The base of this itself is really groundless, pd-nim. "
Namjoon didn't really know what to say, but he is the leader and he needed to comfort both Taehyung and Y/n somehow as a friend and brother.
He couldn't say they used to date, because to everyone, it was damn clear the two were still just as smitten. He didn't want to give out a wrong idea to the public either.
Bang Shi Hyuk just smiles, sensing the nervousness from the rest of the boys and Y/n. He leaned back in the chair, looking at Y/n and Taehyung.
