He glared at the figure in the water.
It was dark so he couldn't get a good picture of who it was, they usually blew out all the candles besides the ones by the bed when they went to sleep. Minho was now regretting that decision.
He was tempted to call out to the person but he didn't want to wake Jisung up and freak him out.
"I'm surprised you aren't yelling at me yet...thats not like you kid"
Minho's eyes go even bigger, he knew that voice.
The other siren (it was obvious it was a siren, no human could survive the swim down to the cave) pulls themself out of the pool and sits at the ledge, tail still in the water.
"The Minho I know would scream at anything that even remotely scared him, such a pussy" The woman chuckled
"How do you know my name?" Minho says through gritted teeth
"You don't remember me? I'm offended" He could hear the smirk in her voice
"Sunmi..." He breaths out, he should've recognized it before
"Ahh so you do know me, good because I would hate for us to be awkward" She chuckles again
Minho tenses when he feels Jisung move in his arms, the blonde scrunching his nose and furrowing his eyebrows in his sleep.
"We should speak quietly, wouldn't want to wake the poor thing" Sunmi says as she looks at them
The male gives her another glare and holds the blonde boy tightly. Sunmi couldn't get to them because she was still in the water, therefore she couldn't go into her human form but still, he was wary of her.
"What do you want? Why are you here? How are you here?" He barrettes her with questions
"I want to leave to be honest with you Min..." She sighs sarcastically
"Im here because I was forced to be, and you know Sirens don't die unless physically injured" The woman plays with her fingers on one hand
"I need you to come with me Minho, then we can get this over with and I'll leave you alone" She finally states
"Yeah not happening. I'd rather not become a black market trade item or a fish place's next meal thank you very much" Minho scoffs
"Oh? You figured it out that fast huh?" The other raises an eyebrow
"The only people that can make a siren do anything against their will are pirates, speaking of which, could you tell your little friends to please leave me and Jisung alone" He glares
Sunmi only laughs.
"I have a promise to keep so no I can't do that, but I will leave you for now. You'd better watch the poor boy, he's helpless down here" And with that she leaves, plopping back in the water and swimming back out into the open ocean.
Minho lets out a breath. He's shaking now, memories he didn't want to see coming back up in his brain.
What could he do now?
