Hey guys, sorry that the past chapters have been so dreadfully short, i promise this one will be a lot longer :3 The flashbacks over and Jane is still sitting at the tree

----------<3

I realised that crying wouldn't get me anywhere, but i couldn't help but sob into my knees.. I didn't know where i was going.. The next village was 15miles from here, i was too exhausted to do anything. Thoughts of what i had just seen drowned my mind. My gran, my neighbours, old Miss Laidlaw, they were all gone.

After what felt like and hour or so, i picked myself up, brushed my ruined dress down of muck and dried leaves and tried to decide what to do now. Suddenly a rustle of leaves came from the other side of the tree. I quickly hid myself behind the large trunk.. A few minutes past before i heard what sounded like pencil being quickly dragged over paper. I peered around the tree to find a boy sitting cross legged with a hard back sketching pad sitting on his lap. I tried to peek round more to see what he was drawing when in a blink of an eye, his sketch book was slammed shut and he turned round to glare me in the eyes.

My first instinct was the duck back behind the tree, but something in his gold specked sapphire eyes held me to his stare. He was beautiful. His skin was the palest i had ever seen, but he still looked healthy. His hair came to just below his chin, it was perfectly messy.

I finally broke from his gaze. He smiled, but it wasn't a rather pleasant smile, it looked like an evil side grin. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to stay near him. I didn't know him, for all i knew he could be some murderer. I decided to do what i had done a lot of today, and ran. I didn't want to find out if he was going to chop me into pieces.

I ran through the maze of trees touching the clouds. Still not knowing where to go, I had no idea what direction the next village was in.

Suddenly I felt a strong grip around my waist. It winded all the air out of me. The grip loosened and i struggled out of it. I turned round to find that same man that was by the tree standing infront of me. He had a light orange and white snake coiled around his arm and its head lay of his shoulder staring at me with its blood red eyes. With a wave of the mans hand, i felt light headed. All the consiousness of my body drifted away. I fell to my knees and after a few dizzy moments, i fell asleep.
