"We all have someone we want to see suffer, die, feel pain. But in order to stay sane. We hide it. Not only from other people. But from ourselves. Have a good night Mieru. Best hurry home, it's getting dark."
"Huh? You know Akashi? Mieru?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. We were in the same class last year, remember?"
"Oh yeah that's right, I just figured you two never really talked to each other."
"We didn't."
He sure is quiet when he's not trying to piss me off.
"Anyways come sit, Chinen is just getting us drinks. We have egg sandwiches and milk bread."
"Sounds good."
"Oh yeah and if you guys ever want a safe place to chill out, calm down, or even just to skip class the council office is never busy. Trust me." Sendo said, turning around in his chair.
"Are you sure? I wouldn't want to be a bother." Said Jessie.
"It's no bother." Sendo responded with a smile.
"Then thank you. Sendo." She said giggling.
His face then went all red. "You... You have a nice laugh."
She looked at him and smiled. That's when I noticed one of her front teeth is shorter than the other.
"You guys are looking as red as ever." Chinen commented.
They both turned away from each other and laughed.
"Oh be quiet Chinen." Jessie laughed.
"Oh?" Chinen looked surprised.
"What?"
"You just called me Chinen. My first name." She smiled.
"Ah?! I'm sorry! I didn't get your permission!"
"No no, it's fine. I kinda liked it."
Huh? What is this? I don't feel well all of a sudden. Looking at the two of them, their faces... the way they look at each other... I don't like it...
I could once again feel the eyes of Akashi burning into me as I got more and more mad.
"Miku, are you alright?"
"Huh? Oh yes I'm fine."
The sudden voices of Jessie and Miku made me snap out of my daydream.
Miku's face looked darker than usual, it didn't look as happy go lucky as it did everyday. Something was wrong.
"Miku?"
"Hm?"
"Can I talk to you outside?"
"Huh, oh come on that's silly we can talk he-"
"I said let's talk outside."
"M-... Okay..." She stood up and walked out of the room with me.
"What's up with them?" Sendo asked.
"Don't know." Chinen replied.
We closed the door behind us and walked to the side of it.
"What is it, Mieru?"
"I want to know what's wrong. You have the same look on your face as you did... that day..."
She looked down at her feet and furrowed her brows.
"I hate seeing them together..."
Huh...?
"Miku...?"
