PROFESSORS MALFOY-POTTER

End of June 2036

"ALRIGHT STUDENTS, PLEASE don't forget every constellation over the summer holidays because you will need some of that knowledge next year," Albus announced to his astronomy students.

It was the last day of classes for the year and he felt good about this year. His students, from every year, had been a good group. But, perhaps what he was most proud of, was the fact that he help so many queer students grapple with their identity through visits to his classroom and copious amounts of cookies that his sister in law sent practically every week.

"Professor," one of his students piped up. "At the beginning of the year, we asked who you were married to and you said you'd tell us on the last day of school if we were all good this year and we've been quite good ... "

"I can never get anything past you, Mr. Calvert, can I?" Albus asked with a laugh as he played with his gold wedding band.

An owl flew in the window and dropped a couple of letters on his desk. However, there was a folded note on top of them. Albus opened it discreetly and smirked at the message before looking up at his students.

"Of course not, sir," he replied as he sat back at his desk.

"Please, Professor," a girl in the front row begged.

"We'll even do extra reading over the holiday!" a kid in the middle added.

"Sydney — " a couple of kids hissed.

"What?" Sydney defended. "I want to know!"

"Well it's obviously Mr. Malfoy!" one of the kids in the back shouted.

"I thought it was Professor Thomas-Chang!" another one shouted.

"Are you stupid, Kevin?" someone shouted. "He's obviously married to Nyah Thomas aka the best quidditch player ever!"

"Are you blind?" Calvert snapped. "James Potter is! He carries the game every time!"

"Who do you think is better, Professor Potter?" Sydney asked as she looked at Albus.

He smiled awkwardly and chuckled. "Don't tell him I said this, but I think Nyah's much better. And Lily will agree with me."
