Gilbert Blythe

You were late for the meeting with your boss. You knew that and you were trying to quickly put on your hat. As you ran outside it started to pour.
"I can't believe this! It was sunny five minutes ago." You said irritated.
The carriage was supposed to be near your house by now. And it wasn't.
Of course you were already stressed out and irritated so this made it worse.
The rain was pouring down but you didn't want to go inside-in case you miss the carriage.
Suddenly you stopped feeling the rain on your hat. As you looked up - you saw an umbrella upon you.
"What is this beautiful lady doing outside when it's pouring down like that?" A tall, brown curly haired man asked.
Your head turned to the side of the voice and you blushed as your eyes met his hazel ones.
"Thank you for the compliment." You smiled. "I'm waiting for my carriage. It's supposed to be here but as we can see it isn't." You bit your lip.
"Well, that's unfortunate. May I keep you company while you're waiting?" The man smiled.
"I would be flattered."
"The pleasure is all mine." He bowed and you laughed. "May I ask for your name, miss?"
"I'm Y/N." You put a strand of your hair behind the ear. "And how should I call my savior?"
"I'm Gilbert."
You took out your hand for him to take.
"Nice to meet you, Gilbert." You said as both of you were softly shaking hands. The sparkling wire of electricity splashed through your bodies and both of you let go of your hands.
"Do you live near by?" Curiosity took over you.
"Yes. I actually live right under the corner." He said as his finger pointed the direction.
"How come I have never seen you before, sir?" You looked at his eyes.
"I actually moved in here three days ago." He scratched his neck.
Suddenly, the carriage turned into your street.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, Gilbert. And thank you for keeping me safe from the rain and for keeping the company." You smiled.
Gilbert took your hand and softly laid a kiss on your knuckles.
"I hope to see you around, Y/N."
"Me too."

Cole Mackenzie

It was a cold autumn day in Avonlea. The freezing wind was throwing leaves from the trees.
You had to fix the broken fence but didn't have any wood and nails after building a house for animals.
You dressed up and went to the city.
Even though the day was cold, there were plenty of people in the center. Some were buying things for winter, some were just chilling.
You saw the shop you needed and started to walk faster when someone caught your eye.
There was a man sitting on the ground with pieces of paper, paintbrushes and watercolor. He look so calm and peaceful.
You felt your feet carrying you to the man. You stopped right in front of him but he didn't even looked up.
You looked around and saw amazing paintings. You felt excitement filling your inside up. Your eyes wandered around all paintings - they were astonishingly beautiful.
"Wow" was all that came from your mouth.
"I'm sorry?" The man asked.
His voice sounded like a fresh breeze in the spring. Like a beautiful bird song. If he would ever try to sing, you'd probably won't be surprised that it sounds astonishing.
"These are amazing." You whispered to yourself but he heard.
"Thank you, miss." The man smiled.
"Did you drew them all?" Curiosity took over you. Something drew you to the man, wanting to know more about him.
"Apparently, yes."
"These paintings are very spectacular. You're a brilliant artist, sir." You complimented him.
"Well, thank you." He smiled.
" May I buy one of these gracefully beautiful paintings?"
"No." The man smiled as confusion took over you. "I can give it to you for free, if you'd like, miss."
You stood there agape. At these times no one gives anything for free.
"Are you sure, sir?" You were already looking at your bag for money.
"In exchange of a cup of tea and your time, miss." The smile on his face widened.
"Well, I guess it won't hurt to have some tea time." You laughed. "And please, call me Y/N."
"Dropping the officials so fast?" The man raised and eyebrows while smiling.
"Why not." You shrugged.
The man chuckled.
"I'm Cole." Your talking partner introduced.
"Nice to meet you, Cole."
"Nice to meet you too, Y/N." Cole said while taking off his hat and bowing a bit as you laughed.

Jerry Baynard

It was your first day working at the Cuthbert family farm. Your family was kind of wealthy but you wanted to help your parents with more money and the Cuthberts with some help hand.
As you dressed up with some simple short-sleeved shirt and pants the sun was already setting up.
"I'm going out!" You said loud enough for your family to hear.
"Bye, sweetie! Holding crossed fingers!" Your parents said.
You smiled and shook your head slightly.
Your family was big - that was another reason you wanted and needed to work.
As you were walking to the Cuthberts farm, you could admire the beauty of nature: the butterflies flying around flowers, the bees collecting nectar, leaves moving to the rhythm of the wind. You felt at peace. The time passed so fast you didn't even noticed that you've reached the farm.
Breathe, Y/N.
You tried to stay calm and put on a brave smiling face. Your feet dragged through the dry land.
Okay, where should I go now?
Your eyes wandered around.
"Bonjour!" A sudden sound startled you.
You looked up, searching for the source of the voice.
Your eyes met syrup-brown ones. The boy was at the top of the farm, holding fresh grass.
He looked so cute, you could melt there and then.
"Bonjour." You managed to say, your voice sounding better than you expected.
"Parlez-vous Français?" He asked amazement taking over him.
"Un peu." You blushed. "Comment vous appelez-vous?"
"Jerry. And what's your name, miss?" He smiled, while looking down at you.
"Y/N."
"Nice to meet you, Y/N. Vous êtes très belle." He winked.
"Thank you." You laughed a bit.
"I see you have already met Jerry." Matthew popped out of nowhere. "You two will be working together." He smiled. "Now, let's go, Y/N, I'll show you around."
"It was nice meeting you, Jerry." You stopped for a second before going with Matthew.
"Me too, Miss Y/N."
