A groan escaped from Cara's lips, as for the fourth time already, her messy bun fell out. She thought of all the tumblr girls, and how on earth they did them. Calum laughed at her miserable attempts, and placed himself on the bed that the owners of the houses provided Cara with. Calum has managed to stay in the other guest bedroom, much to Cara's despair.

Today was Monday. Which meant the day the owners were coming home, and Cara had to make sure everything in the house was perfect- even though she hated cleaning. The owners expected to find their dogs healthy and clean.

She decided to pull her dark brown hair into a ponytail, before rummaging through her suitcase. She hadn't brought many decent clothes with her, a few yoga pants and sweatshirts, but because she wanted to look presentable for them, she chose some white skinny jeans with a grey top.

"Shoo" She said to Calum, motioning for him to go out the room. Calum rolled his eyes, but didn't budge.

"Cara, I have been your friend for over twleve years. I've seen you get dressed before. I know you have boobs."

"Touché. " She said, but shoved him out the room. Cara quickly got dressed before opening the door to find Calum stood there waiting.

"Hard was it?" He commented but she ignored it. She was stressing to much about the dogs. "Don't worry, Chill. I've fed them and they are laying downstairs together."

"Thank you." It was strange for him to do something like this, maybe it was because it was the holidays. She peered out the window, and just like she guessed, the snow had fallen quite deep this year and was covering the whole street- and her car. Her car wasn't expensive, nor important to her, but since her parents were ncie enough to buy her it, she accepted their gift.

Slipping on her slippers, she went downstairs where the dogs ran up to her wagging their small tails. Cara noticed that they had been outside as their paws were covered in snowflakes. "Calum!"

A sudden knock came to the door, followed by the cheery tone of the door bell. Like last night, she wondered why someone would be out in this weather.

"Calum, did you order pizza for breakfast?" This wasn't unusal for her, not calum ordering pizza, but eating it for breakfast. It didn't consume a lot of her time, or make much mess in the houses.

"No." She frowned, another thought came to her head that would wind Calum up.

"Chinese takeaway?"

"Fuck off." She laughed and put the dogs in their cages before going to the door and opening it. A unfamiliar face stood there, in a bright red puffer jacket and blue pants. His hair was also a bright colour, but a instead of red, it was pink.

"Um, can I help you?" Cara asked, trying not to be effected by the boys fashion sense.

"I actually live here. Well, used to." He chuckled. His accent was a fading Australian, which made Cara confused. Why was there an australian clown on the front porch?

"Oh well, they aren't in at the moment. They will be back soon-" Cara was cut off by the strange person barging into the house. "Exucse me, but this isn't your home anymore. If you don't get out, I won't threaten to call the cops on you."

The look on the pink haired guy was priceless. He started laughing, not a small laugh, but a full on laughing fit. His hands were on his stomach, and his face was red. "What are they gonna arrest me for, wearing tight pants?"

Cara rolled her eyes, but kept a straight face. This was the time that Calum came from downstairs, with a completely confused face. "Is this the owner of the house?"

"No, I don't know who he is. He just waltzed in saying he used to live here, and now he is having a fit on the floor."

The guy was now over his laughing fit, and now fussing the dogs commenting how he wished they were cats. Tina and Richie seemed almost familiar with him and were barking at him, with there tails wagging at a high speed.

"Relax, my parents live here. I came to visit them, but they are obviously not here. Who are you two?"

"I was hired by your "parents" to look after your dogs." Cara huffed, taking the dogs away from the person before putting them in the kitchen.

The quiet, laid back and relaxed environment had suddenly gone, and now replaced with annoyed, tension filled awkwardness. Silence began to fill the air as well, and Cara hated that.

"Well, I'm Michael." He jumped on the couch, and put his feet on the coffee table.

Obviously, his first impression wasn't enough to wow Cara, or Calum, so they kicked his legs off the table, leaving Michael in a uncomfortable position.

"One, If you did live here then you would know that feet aren't allowed on that. Two, I don't care who you are. I suggest that you get out know before I have to call the owners." She added. Cara was slightly annoyed at him, as she didn't even know him yet he was talking like he had met her in high school.

"Jeez, Look at the photos around the house. I, may point out, that I am on nearly every one of them." Michael grinned, gesturing around the front room. And, like he said, he in fact was on most of the photos scattered around the room. In each photo, he was wearing a different quirky shirt, or an outrageous hair colour.

"Whatever, your parents are coming home anytime soon, so I won't have to deal with you much longer." Cara was already fed up with his child like dress sense, and behaviour.

Calum walked to the kitchen door, and let the dogs into the front room where they came up, running to Michael. Michael rolled his eyes, and Cara wasn't sure if they were aimed at her, or the fact the dogs were practically drooling all over him.

"Actually, that is why I'm here. They texted me to say the airport had delayed their flight until Friday." Michael stated, before picking up the two small dogs and putting them out the way. He muttered something under his breathe, which probably went along the lines "cats are so much easier." He also didn't seem to notice the pure look of shock on Cara's face.

"You've gotta be kidding me." Cara couldn't handle him for two minutes, never mind a week. They had only just met.

"Nope, they would have texted you but they thought you would be to preoccupied with the dogs. They wanted me to come because they thought you would be lonely, but you've got your boyfrien-"

Cara laughed loudly, and wiped a fake tear from her eye. "Calum is not my boyfriend. He's my best friend."

Michael eyed Calum, whilst Calum just shrugged. This also got the attention of Cara who raised his eyebrow at Calum.

"Nah, she's right man, I would rather date a toilet." Cara laughed at that before punching his shoulder softly. This was the Calum she knew. "Oh, Cara. I've got to go, my mum said she wanted me back by twelve."

Cara frowned. That would mean she would have to be alone with pink haired guy. "Oh, okay. You must be going know then, with the snow and stuff"

He nodded, and glanced at Michael who still hadn't taken off his, rather thick coat. "You'll be fine. I'll get Maya or Lana to text you later." Cara had forgotten about them, and made a mental note to text them as well.

Calum grabbed his car keys from the small bowl, in front of the front door and put on his jacket.

"Drive safe and don't bother to stop buy at the asian club" Cara joked, and Calum replied with a middle finger before shutting the front door.

Cara turned around to look at Michael who was trying not to laugh.

"Is he actually asian?"

"To be honest, he gets more and more asian everyday."

I just want to put it out here, that if I was racist in any way shape of form, I'm sorry. I don't mean to be racist.
