"Channie," Seora called in a sing-song voice as she practically skipped over to him. He stopped packing his notebook to look up and watched her with an amused smile until she stopped at the opposite end of his desk.

"Yes, munchkin," he asked.

"What are you doing after school," she asked.

"I," he sighed. "Am going to a doctor's appointment and then to work."

She pouted for a moment, then perked up again. "I could walk down to the cafe and study for a while."

"Or you could take it as an opportunity to hang out with You-Know-Who."

"Yeah, I don't know. I left my room like you told me to and it's already a bit of a mess."

Chanyeol's eyes widened a little. "Oh? What happened?"

"I -well - it wasn't that bad, but there are a lot of people around right now so I probably shouldn't say cause I might get jumped-"

Just as the words left her mouth, the lunch bell sounded loudly throughout the classroom and students began to leave like rats on a sinking ship. Within a minute, they were the only two people in the room, aside from the teacher. Chanyeol shouldered his backpack with a satisfied hum, then pointed to the door. The smug smile on his face made her sigh.

The two of them left the classroom and made their way through the hoard of students to get to the cafeteria. There was enough chatter in the halls that their conversation would get lost in the noise and if anyone were to hear a snippet of what was said, they were irrelevant enough that no one would really care or pay attention.

"So, what happened with Yoongi," Chanyeol asked, keeping his voice low just to be safe.

"Well he was sore from practice and his shoulder was giving him some trouble, so I rubbed the knots out because I wanted to help," she rambled in a single breath, not really paying attention to what she was saying or how it sounded. "And then he- well he kind of kissed me on the cheek and said thank you, then just took off and I didn't see him again until dinner and he acted like nothing happened."

"Did you say anything about it?"

"Did I say anything about it? Pft! Of course I said. . . nothing," she answered, her voice trailing off toward the end. Chanyeol threw his hands up and sighed as they walked into the cafeteria.

"Why not," he asked. "You guys make no sense to me, you know that?"

"Thanks, I love you too," she retorted. "Besides, what do you expect me to say? Can't it be progress enough that I didn't ignore him this time?"

He took a breath. "Yes, okay, you're right. And I'm proud of you. I just forget sometimes that you aren't as outspoken with the rest of the world as you are with me."

"Fair enough."

The two of them got their food and began to walk into the seating part of the cafeteria, but Chanyeol had so many questions. Seora assumed that he was just as bad, if not worse than, a girl best friend would be in this situation - though the fact that she the only drama in her life the last few years had been caused by her father probably played a part in that.

"Seora, I've known you since we were in diapers. How is admitting that you like him the most embarrassing thing that could possibly happen to you in front of me," he asked.

She flushed red. "Because I would rather catch the damn plague! There is no way in hell I'm gonna say that."

"Say what?"

Seora stopped dead in her tracks, just realizing that she'd been walking over to the boys' table whilst talking to Chanyeol about Yoongi. Her face began to warm up when she saw all the boys staring at her.

"Oh! Hey, guys," she said with a nervous laugh as she prayed that no one heard anything incriminating. She sat down in her usual seat next to Yoongi while Chanyeol sat with the rest of the sunshine line; i.e. Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok. Yoongi and Jin, who was just across from him, smiled at her.

She worried for a moment that they would ask her what she'd been talking about, but the boys all carried on with their conversations or started new ones amongst themselves.

Yoongi and Jin gave her a couple of minutes to get herself settled, discussing something that had been going on with the boys' practice, before addressing her when they noticed her hesitation to join in.

"What about you Seora," Jin asked sweetly, catching her off guard.

"What about me," she asked.

The older boy chuckled. "Your plans for after school. Are you doing anything later?"

"Oh," she laughed. "No, I'm not."

"Really? Neither is Yoongi."

Jin grinned for a moment before the table shook slightly and he suddenly hissed, shooting Yoongi a glare. Seora turned to look at him.

"I thought you had practice later, what happened?"

Yoongi shrugged. "Tomorrow's game got cancelled because the other school's JV and Varsity teams got into a fight. They're all suspended for a week, so we won by default and got out of practice."

"Keep kicking people and you might have the same problem as the other team," she teased. The blond rolled his eyes but couldn't help laughing.

"Shut up."

"Not a chance," she replied, then looked over at Jin. "Are you okay?"

He smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright."

She smiled back and felt a hand take hold of her own. Her smile unconsciously grew ever so slightly, so she didn't notice but everyone else had - especially Yoongi and Chanyeol. But no one said anything about it. Maybe she refused to say it aloud, but she didn't have to. It was written all over her face.
