preference #68 : you come home in tears

ELIJAH : You closed the door with a bang and slid down against it as you covered your face with your palms. You had an awful day, and you had been waiting for the moment you could cry, and when you opened the front door it happened. "Y/N, what is it? Please, be honest with me", you heard Elijah say and you looked up with blurry eyes. "I had the worst day", you whispered and he pulled you into a hug and sat with you on the floor until you were ready to tell all about your day.

 KOL : You ran inside, and didn't even close the door - you just headed straight to the bathroom where you planned on staying for the day. But on your way there, you bumped into Kol and he raised his eyebrows in concern when he saw your tears. "What's wrong Y/N?", he asked and pulled you into a hug before even letting you tell. He kissed your forehead and told you to cry as much as you needed to, and took you to the bedroom where he put you in your bed.

JEREMY : "Fuck", you muttered and wiped your eyes when you entered your home. You knew Jeremy would get too worried, so you tried to stop yourself from crying but as soon as you got in and saw Jeremy happily smiling you continued. Your day had went so well in the beginning but it ended up sucking which made you so upset. "Babe, come here", Jer said, not even asking about the reason behind you tears, and made you some coffee and food to eat. 

KLAUS : "Nik?", you asked with a trembling voice and as soon as he appeared to the door you were entering, you ran to his arms and cried all you could. "You cannot believe the day I've had. I'm just so glad to see you", you mumbled and kissed his lips softly while crying. Klaus smiled and kissed your forehead after a moment and promised he'd comfort you until you'd be happy again, since he hated to see you so down.

DAMON : "Hey, hey, baby, what's wrong?", Damon asked when you entered your house in tears and walked past him. When he tried to approach you, you rudely pushed him away and tried to go to your room but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you against his chest. "Don't you for a second think that I'd just let you go without making sure you're alright", he warned and begged for you to tell what made you so upset.

KAI : You had the worst possible day at work today, so when you came home you couldn't stop yourself from crying. You roughly cried as you went inside, which drew Kai's attention to you. He ran to you and pulled you to his arms, and squeezed you hard. "Y/N baby, what is it?", he asked, worried and sad to see you so down. You shook your head and said you didn't want to talk about it right now, you just wanted to take a nap with him which you did. 

STEFAN : "I never want to see my friends again", you let out and cried, causing Stefan to sprint to you. Your friends had insulted you behind your back, making you come home in tears. "I don't know what they did, and you tell me whenever you're ready, but don't think about it. You're perfect no matter what you've been told", he insisted and kissed your face to show you how much he loved you.
