Where's Dad?(4); Second Change
Rye's P.O.V
"Dad?"
My eyes widen, my heart shanked, I was shaking. Anger and Sadness are fighting towards my emotion. All I wanted to do is run.
Memories are flashing in my mind, which made tears rolling down to my cheeks.
"Rye?" Dad said, or should I say Aidan?
"Why are you here." I said in my rude voice.
He didn't response as he hugs me, My emotion are confused. I felt happy and mad at the same time. It felt like a crime of hugging him back. So I pushed him away to break the hug.
"Hey it's been a long time Rye.. I miss you and your mom..." He said in a sincere voice, why does he sound regret and guilty?
No Rye, he hurt mom and you..
"Miss us? After you broke mom's heart? After you stay with your whore? After you lost the privilege of being my dad? And you miss us? That's it?" His emotion got more soften, I can see he felt guilty.
"I know, I was an idiot back then, I've been blind of Janine's beauty, but she isn't worth it. Society knows that our relationship is perfect and cute but it isn't, Our relationship is toxic since then. And I was stupid but Rye please give me a second change, If I did something stupid again... You can forget me."
Should I give him second change? What is he's using us?? What if he isn't sincere?? Thoughts are running in my mind. But I made a decision.
"Okay I forgive you but you can't see or talk to mom." I said in an confidence voice, his lips formed a smile and he nodded.
" Thank you Rye." "But I am still mad at you....." I said in a sarcastic voice as he thought I was serious..
"Just kidding." I with a chuckle at the end.
~~~ "So how did you and mom met?"
"Well it started in highschool, I was new in the campus, All I felt is nervous but your mom is here for me, she welcomed me and yeah we're close friend and time flies fast, we developed feelings for each other, and I asked her out." Dad said with a smile.
"How about you Rye? Do you have any crushes? Your in highschool right?" I laugh as I hit his arm gently
"Dad? No I don't have any crushes" "Well if you say soo." He said sarcastically.

"Oh by the way, give this to your mom, this is her favorite flower, but don't tell it's from me since you know.."
"Hmm (f/f)?? I didn't know mom has a great taste on flower huh?"
"Well you mom is the best."

"Thanks Rye, I enjoy our little bonding, I hope one day we're complete." It was just a simple bonding but that means a lot for the both of us.
"Thank dad, bye! Oh btw we will hangout after my session and please don't break in to our house, also I will just text you if we can hangout sometimes." I said as I waved to him.

Weeks past, it was great, no one knew we're hanging out, even Finn, but I am planning to tell it to him.
Also I felt complete again, Giving dad second change is probably the best desicion I ever made.
And dad broke up with Janine, he rent an apartment near our house.

"Hey Finn! I am going to tell you something but this only a secret.." Today was the day I need to tell Finn the truth that I am seeing dad.
"Okay what is it??"
"Basically weeks ago my therapist isn't present, but someone recharged him, and it's dad, at first I was having mixed emotion but it ended up giving him another change.. BUT MOM DOESN'T know it.. So I've been hanging out with dad..."
Finn was completely shocked.
"Well that good! But you need to tell this to you mom though.."
"Yeah I know, maybe some day.. If we're ready.."
"Rye?? Is that your dad in front of your door?" My eyes widen
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I look around and yeah Finn is right... BUT I TEXTED DAD THAT I AM NOT FREE TODAY???
