Demetria's P.O.V.:
The giant numbers slowly descend, the sound of the enclosed space moving fills the silence.
"How and when did you two get here?" Father asks, still surprised by our sudden appearance. We all stand side by side, looking at each other. Father stares at us, a small smirk on his face. "And you've gotten taller."
"Can't call us short anymore, Father," I taunt.
"You're still shorter than me, sweetheart."
"Tch. I'm still growing," I argue.
"You'll stop growing in probably a few months. Or maybe you stopped growing already."
"Tch. Let me dream."
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Damian growls, glaring at Tim.
Tim glares back at Damian, a scowl on his face. "Why are you taller?!"
A smirk finds itself on Damian's face, slightly bending down to get into Tim's face. "Because I'm the blood son."
"Bruce!"
Father sighs. "Damian, stop fighting with your brother."
"He started it. He commented on my height, asking for an explanation. And I did," Damian argues.
"He's not wrong," I comment, shrugging my shoulders.
Father sighs once more, shaking his head. "So. Once again. How and when did you two get here?"
"Here as in Gotham?" Damian asks.
"Or as in the company?" I finished.
"We'll go with Gotham first," Father answers wearily.
"By foot," Damian answers. "Took some vehicles from the compounds to travel overseas and walked up the mountain by foot."
"Dami's horrible sense of direction got us lost," I muttered.
"You were the one leading first!"
"Your presence was distracting."
"How?"
"You're just annoying."
"Tch. I was the one that got us to the manor," he argues.
"Yeah. After you finally shut the hell up and just followed the directions."
"Alright," Father intrudes, breaking our argument. "And how did you two get to the company? Did you walk here, after?"
"Hilarious, Father," I commented. "We utilized our surroundings."
"Utilized your surroundings?" Father asks as the door to the elevator dings, indicating that we've reached the ground floor.
We all walk out of the elevator and into the main lobby, heading straight out the door.
"Miss Demetria? Master Damian?" We all turn our heads to the source of the voice, finding a surprised Alfred standing in front of a limo. "What are you two doing here? I thought I left you two at the manor."
"Wait. You knew that they were here?!" Tim exclaims, pointing at the two of us.
"I had encountered them the moment they entered the bedrooms," Alfred answers.
"It was a very interesting encounter," I add.
"Interesting?" Father asks.
"Pennyworth is a little too fond of that shotgun of his," Damian comments.
