Chapter 2 Nightmares

I was twisting and turning in my bed, nightmares spinning in my head. Like I was in a constant screaming sensation. Sweat dripping down my body always jerking like I was in a seizure. Then I started to see something, it was my parents! I ran toward them, but as I was about to hug them, I just went right through them like they were a ghost. "What was going on", I asked myself. Then I heard a whoosh in the air, I could feel the air to my back. It was a helicopter about to take off, but then I saw my parents in military uniform. They were talking to General Wade, I was assuming they were talking about a mission. Then the General saluted them, they did the same. They walked to the copter, people saluting them in orderly fashion. They climbed into chopper getting buckled in, ready to take off. But then I realized something this wasn't happening currently, it had already happened and couldn't stand here and let what was about happen to come through. I ran to the chopper yelling: Mom, Dad get out of there. But as soon as they looked at me it was already
happening. I saw the rocket fly through the air, I couldn't look. I feel to my knees to scared to look at this again. I could here the explosion behind me. I started to cry, then I woke up with a gasp as if I was unable to breath. I couldn't go back to sleep after that.
