Chapter Seven

After the hospital let me out, I jumped into Ope truck.
   "So I got a surprise for you. " Ope said. I looked over at him and he was opening the door.
  "Oh really?" I asked teasingly.   He smiled then started to drive, it was quiet until I noticed we past our street. 
  "We dont live there anymore. " he said smiling. I looked over at him confused until I saw the house. It was a old colonial Victorian house all white with red shutters.  My mouth fell open.
  "But how when how?" I started to stuttered. Ope chuckled.
  "Tig felt bad for what happened, asked the club for money to get you a new place then everyone threw in and Jax picked out the house." Ope said. I looked over at him excited.
  "Can we go in?" I asked excitedly.  Opie chuckled and nodded his head. I shrieked like a little girl and jumped out of the truck and ran to the front door. 
  "Wait." Ope said running.  I turned around and looked at him confused.
He unlocked the door and looked around.
  "Ope."I said grabbing his arm. He looked over at me.
  "Its ok." I said. When I saw how beautiful everything was I almost cried.   Ope smiled at me while I was acting like a kid in a candy store.  Then the light flipped on. There was decorations all over the place.
  "Surprise." Everyone said excitedly. I smiled until I saw Wendy. Then my face dropped. Everyone ran up and hugged me, Wade looked extremely happy but the deputy didn't.  He was staring at me and giving me a weird look. Like he was trying to analyze me.  I poked Ope in the arm and immediately had his attention.
  "Who is that?" I asked pointing to the deputy.  Ope looked over, his face went into a protective look.
  "I don't know, just stay close to me until he leaves." Ope said quietly then he put his arm over my shoulder.  Then we walked over to the club.
  "I hope I redeemed myself." Tig said. I sniffled and I hugged him.
  "Its not your fault but thank you." I whispered then I kissed his cheek. Tig smiled at me.
  "So you guys planned this and did this within thirty minutes?" I said shocked. Ma and pops laughed same with Bobby.
  "Honey these decorations been up since you been in a coma." Ma said smiling then she hugged me.
  "Its good to have you back sis." Jax said pulling me into a hug. I smiled. See everyone says the people in this club are horrible people but they aren't. They are sweet, sensitive and very generous. Well if you don't fuck with the club they are.  Wendy walked up to me and took a deep breath.
  "I'm sorry, I didnt know that this would happen." She said looking down. I went to cross my arms and Ope put his hand on my shoulder.
  "Are you clean?" I asked full of spite.
  "Yes I promise." She said. I smiled at her and pulled her into a hug.
  She was shocked.
  "Stay that way and we won't have a problem." I said. She nodded then took a deep breath.
  "Do you think you could talk to Jax about the divorce.?" She asked. I laughed. 
  "Oh hell no your gonna prove to him that you are worthy of having him." I said then walked off. I went to the bowl of punch. Then Bobby came running.
  "No that's spiked!" He yelled I looked over at him with a raised eyebrows.
  "You guys have a whole club and your still spiking the punch bowl like your at prom?" I said. Bobby face turned red.  I laughed then he laughed and pulled me into a hug.  
  "I missed you. " He said.  As I walking over to Ope and Jax. The deputy stopped me.
  "I'm deputy chief Hale, I'm here to bring you in for questioning. " He said holding his badge up.  I looked at him very weirdly.
  "What is this about?" I asked. Hale glared at me.
  "The disappearance of Tony McCoy and Andrew Scott. " He said sternly. I looked over at Ope.
  "What is going on here." Pops said while smiling.
  "Nothing sure just police business." He said. Pops smile soundly fell.
  Then Ma walked up.
  "What is this about." She said pulling me into a side hug.
  "Its about two guys disappearing." I said looking up at Ma.
  "Wade." Ma called the sheriff chief over.
  
  "Your deputy here, has informed my daughter about bringing her in for questioning." Ma said. Wade looked over at Hale pissed.
"God damn it Hale, I've already interviewed her." He lied.  I looked over at Wade.
  "No sir it's ok, I'll go with you but can I bring my brother. It's nothing against you but I just don't feel comfortable going off with someone that I don't know and I'm being cooperative." I asked.  Hale gave me a nasty look.  Then muttered I guess.
"Jax." I said and Jax walked over.
  "Can you help me get to the police station?" I asked. He looked over at Hale then at my face. He saw the fear in my eyes.  He gave me a weak smile then nodded.
  "Sure. " he said. I smiled then walked over to grabbed my coat.
  "What's going on?" Ope asked. I sighed.  While putting on my coat.
  "Hale wants to aske a few question." I said.  Ope sighed and took off his leather jacket and put it on me 
  "Be safe." He said. I smiled at him.
  "Jax is coming with me." I said.  Then I looked down at the sleeves. 
  "Why did you hand this to me?" I asked. Ope laughed then smiled.
  "It cold out there and I know that will keep you warm." He said. I smiled.
  "Ms.Teller let's go." Hale said impatiently.  Ope looked over at him.
  "I gotta go before deputy asshole blows his top." I said smiling.  I got on my tippy toes and kissed Ope cheek then left with Jax. Hale and Jax got an argument on who was taking me to the station but Jax ended up winning. After we got to the station Hale put me in a interview room.
  "So I have some understanding that Andrew and Tony attacked you in your apartment am I correct?" He asked.
  "Yes sir." I said and I nodded.
  "What were they doing?" He asked. I froze as the memories started to come back.  I started to cry.
  "They raped me for a total of 3 hours.  " I answered. Hale just nodded.
  "Did the club have anything to do with the disappearance?" He asked.
  "Am I being charged officer?" I asked. Putting my elbows on the tables.
  "No your not." He said.  I laughed.
  "No they didnt." I said. Hale made an O shaped with his mouth. 
  "Well apparently to hospital records Opie Winston admitted you in the hospital a few weeks ago." He said.
  "Yes we were living in the same apartment." I said. Hale smiled then said. 
  "Where was he at the time of the attack?" He asked raising his eyebrows. The creep was looking down my shirt and at my cleavage. I looked at him in disgust.
"He was at work, sorting out the files." I said with my arms crossing my chest.
   "Ok." Hale said. I had a smug look on my face.
"Am I free to go officer?" I asked.
  "Yeah." He said.
  "Oh but Teller." He said and I turned around.
  "Dont hang out with a motorcycle club, your too pretty." He said and I scoffed.  Then left.
  Jax started to follow me and we went back to the house.
  We got up to the stoop.
  "Elle wait." Jax said and I turned around. He sighed then sat down.
  "Wendy's pregnant." He said. I looked over at him with shock.
  "Congrats." I said smiling then I hugged him.
   "I'm worried about being a bad father." He said.

  "Jax, remember when I was 11 and I broke my foot from falling out a tree." I said.  Jax looked over at me and smiled.
  "Yeah, you were crying so hard that Bobby and Chibs thought Clay was gonna kill them." Jax said chuckling.
  "You were 13 and you were calmer then the both of them and remember what you told me." I said smiling. Jax started to smile.
  "I told that no matter what and no matter how far apart we were, I would be there always to protect." He said.
  "Then remember how after I got home you were my bitch for a week." I said laughing. 
  "I was not your bitch. I did what I had to do, my baby sister got hurt, I had to take care of you Its what brother does." He said.
  "Then you remember when after dad died, you were always there whenever I cried." I said. Jax looked down.
  "Yeah, you didnt understand that dad was gone so every night you would sit out on the front porch and you would wait for him." He said. I looked down.
  "Jax, you dont have to worry about being a dad, because you already did it." I said looking down. Then I patted him on the shoulder. He just sat there quiet.
" I love you big bear." I said then I walked inside. Ope came over and hugged me.
    Then piney sat up and walked over to me and Ope.
   "Elle. As you know I was very good friends with your old man." He said. I nodded and looked at him confused.
  "When your dad died, you were crushed. But seeing the strong woman you are today, he would be proud of you. Hell I'm proud of you and I'm happy that your back." He said. I started to tear up.
  "Awww Piney." I said smiling and I hugged you.
  "I love you Elle." He said. I smiled at him.
  "I love you old man." I said jokingly. Piney chuckled then went and sat back down. Ope grabbed my hand.
  "Come on, there's something you gotta see. " ope said then he started to lead me outside.   I started to giggle as he lead me into the woods in the back yard.  It was probably a ten to fifteen minute hike.
  "Ope where are we going?" I asked giggling.  He smiled.
  "We are here. " he said. I walked out of the brush and there was this beautiful crystal lake. The reflection of the stars and the moon light added to its beauty more.  It had a little waterfall and flowers surrounding it. I looked at the view in Awe.
  "Ope how much was this house?" I asked.  Ope started to laugh.
  "It was on Foreclosure when we bought. But we put the rest of the money from the club into restoring the house." Ope said. I smiled.
  "It'll set us back a little bit, but other then that Clay is giving you a promotion of taking over the bar."  He said. I smiled even more.
  "Ope its beautiful." I said.  He walked up to me, rested his forehead against mine and brushed his fingers through my hair.
  "Then I guess it's the perfect place to ask you." He said. I smiled at him.
  "Elle, I like you obviously, and I wanna be with you.  I wanna protect you, and love  you like you deserve to be. So when I ask, i hope you'll say yes. Will you be my old Lady? " he asked. I stood there and smiled.
  "I'll be your old lady." I said quietly. 
  "Yeah?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said smiling then he gave me the most passionate kiss in the world. I felt all my worries and stress go away. I kissed him back and after some time he pulled away and looked at the view. I turned my head and look  at the stars. 
  "We should go back to the party." He said. I started to chuckle.
  "I agree." I said. Then I stuck my hand out.
  "Let's go boyfriend." I said smiling. He just chuckled and grabbed my hand. We walked back to the house.
When we got inside everyone was piss drunk.  Expect for Wade.
  "Alright everyone that's drunk hand over your keys." I said. Everyone groaned.
   "Now." I said holding my hand out. Wade was laughing.
  "Honey I'm ok to drive, I'll take Piney,Tig, Bobby, prospect, and Chibs." Ma said.  I nodded. Jax and Juice was past out.  Everyone left expect for Jax and Juice.
    Ope picked me up bridal style.
  "Now up to our room madam." He said.
  "Why thank you good sir." I said.  He started to smile and I laughed. He walked up the spiral stairs and went to the left.  There was a beautiful room with hardwood floors,  a white fluffy carpet and a big ass bed with a bunch of pillows. Then there was a door out to the the balcony.   I smiled at Ope.
  "I love it." I said. Ope smiled.
  Then he dropped me on the bed and went to lay on the other side.  When he laid down I put my head on his chest.  After five minutes I fell asleep.
