The Interview Day

8 a.m.

The whole team was on their way to press for her interview. Annie was still worried about the interview. 'O humdum' song was being played on their car radio.

"O hamdam suniyo re, O jhaniyaa suniyo re O jhaniyaa ..." , This time Evy started singing.

"Evy, you are singing? I can't believe.", Jacky said.

"You know guys, this song reminds me of Doremon. Suniyo was my favorite character." Roy said.

"I must say Roy, you've a nice choice dude." Lisa laughed at him.

"Mine was Shizuka." Evy said.

"No doubt, why you keep bathing three times a day." Lisa laughed more at her. Everyone was laughing except Annie.

"Your cheap jokes aren't making any sense. You all are pissing me off. Please stop it." Annie said.

"We're just trying to make your mood." Roy said.

"I know. Now stop this radio too." Annie was not in a mood for anything.

"Shaam ko khidikee se choree choree nange paaon chaand aayegaa", Lisa whispered.

"I said stop it Lisa. Dont piss me off." Annie shouted at her.

"Annie, we've to face hard days anyhow. We don't get any choice. Deal with it calmly otherwise you'll lose the battle. Because loosing temper will only destroy you." Jacky said.

"You're right Jacky." She took a deep breath. After that, rest of the journey was silent.

8.30 a.m.

Annie barged in the office searching for Mr. Joshi with her team. "Where the hell is this Joshi?" , Annie shouted at the staff making everyone scared.

"Mam, this way please." One of the staff member took her to his cabin.

She entered without knocking and Evy was with her. "Why did you do that?", she shouted at him banging both of her hands on the table.

"Jiska mujhe tha intezar, jiske liye dil tha bekarar. Woh ghadi I mean Annie aagyi aagyi. Haan" he sang. Annie rolled her eyes at him.

"Welcome Annie. I was waiting for you." Joshi said.

"I. Am. Not. Going. To. Reveal. Any. Personal. Info." Annie told him straightly.

"You'll Annie." Joshi said.

"Then your intuitions are totally wrong." Annie said and turned to leave.

"You erased all your details but forget something important." Joshi told her calmly with a confident smile. It made her turn back and narrow her eyes at him.

"Acha. And what's that?" She folded her hands and looked straight at him.

"From the hustle records, you forget to remove about the city you used to live." Joshi smiled at her. He was well-prepared.

Annie was stiffed by hearing this. "Tell them about my former city. What's next? You don't know anything else Joshi." Annie said with same posture.

"The Joshi never comes unplanned." He smirked. "Well before you continue your 'I won't reveal' talks, let me show you something." He started showing her a video clip.

In the clip :

There was a man and a women sitting on a couch.

Man : Namastey! I'm Ana-I mean Annie's father.

Woman: And I'm her mother.

Man: We've always treated her like a princess of our house. We never lacked at fulfilling her wishes.

Woman: She was a good daughter. We always loved her.

Man: But one day, she betrayed us. We never expected.

Woman: She wanted to become a hustler. We supported her but in return she gave us a heartbreak and left us.

Man: That day, she was going Mumbai with her elder sister by train for audition. But before she would've reached Mumbai, she got off from the train at some unknown station.

Woman: Her sister told us a boy came to pick her. And while going Annie told her that she is running away with him. She had an affair with him..."

Annie took the phone and threw it on the table. Sadly, it was broken into pieces. But Joshi didnt cared about that.

"Wild huh. I have other copies." Joshi said.

"My fans won't believe it" Annie said.

"Trust me. I've your pictures with them.", Joshi smiled.

"I'll claim that they are edited." Annie was trying her best to solve this.

"You can't do that. We both know they're real. Fake claim won't help you." Joshi said. "And who was the boy. Since, you haven't been in any controversies with any boy. Is it Jacky or Roy?"

Annie rolled her eyes at him. "I need sometime." She said.

"Public will love this with some spice. Keep this in your mind before coming with a decision. The interview will start in 1 hr." Joshi stated calmly. She left.

Sometimes it's okay to not care about those who have betrayed you several times. It doesn't matter what they mean to you. Betrayals are betrayals. If they didnt thought once before hurting you, then you too don't have to think about it.

She was completely trapped. She had two choices- Choose herself and state the truth or save them and let him destroy her career.

"I am ready." Annie came back to his cabin. Joshi smiled in victory.
