10 a.m.
Interview Hall,
Delhi News.

Everything was set for the interview. The setup was arranged perfectly for them. Two couches were placed on the stage-one for Annie and the other for Mr. Joshi. Many reporters and journalists were present there with some cameramen. They were ready with their notepad.

Annie was with her team. They were worried about her. They've seen her getting too annoyed on such topics. Today she was going to answer all the questions. It must be so difficult for her.

"Annie, I know he must've blackmailed you. Just allow me once, I will show him." Lisa said.

"What will you show him, Lisa? That he can't reveal the truth." Annie bitterly said.

"What do mean by the truth?" Roy asked.

"He has some broken pieces of my past." She replied.

"So what Annie? He is still the culprit. He doesn't have any right to blackmail you." Evy said.

"He isn't. The real culprit is someone else." Annie told them.

"Who is he?" Jacky asked.

She looked at them. "Let me tell you from the beginning."

A girl came and took her to the hall.

The Live Interview

"Good morning everyone. I would like to thanks Annie for honoring us with her presence." Joshi faked a smile.

"I am glad to be here." Annie faked a smile too.

"So shall we begin the interview?" Joshi asked with politeness. She nodded.

Reporter1 : Mam, what made you take the decision of revealing everything?

Annie : It's none other than Mr. Joshi.
(She looked at him. He narrowed his eyes at her)

Reporter2 : How did he convince you?

Annie : Even I don't know what exactly made me do this. But I had a chat with him. He really has some good convincing power.

Reporter3 : What's your real name, Mam?

Annie : It's Annie.
(Everyone started laughing at this)

Reporter4 : Mam, as you are a singer. Why don't you begin your story with a song?

Annie : Sure.

(She choosed 'Tune Jo Na Kaha' )

"Aaya woh phir nazar aise
Baat chidne lagi phir se
Aankho mein chubtha kal ka dhuwaan

Haal tera na hum sa hain
Is khushi mein kyun gham sa hai
Basne laga kyun phir woh jahan

Woh jahan durr jisse gaye the nikal
Phir se yaadon ne kar di hai jaise pehel
Lamha beet ta huwa
Dil dhukata raha
Khamakha bewajah khwaab bunta raha"

Everyone started giving her a huge round of applause. Straightening her body, she begin...

Annie's POV

"Before I became Annie, I was Anahita Ishwar." There was a complete silence. "I was born in a small family." My heart ached at the word 'family'. "We lived in Satara. My mother and my father used to love me a lot. I had an elder sister. Her name was Satakshi. She was good in studies. And I was too weak in studies."

"I used to read general books. But study was a different thing for me. I was interested in reading, writing, cooking. Above all of this, singing was my passion. I was an active person who was interested in learning new things. I was a quick learner."

"My parents used to praise me a lot. My mom always appreciated me for helping her in cooking whereas my sister never even entered the kitchen. I never compared myself with her. But my parents did that several times. Being the elder sibling and still getting taunts like this was somewhere increasing hatred against me in her mind. I wasn't aware about it before. But one day, she showed me..."

"Maa. Baba. Di." I started shouting, sitting in the living room. "Calm down beta. Why are you shouting like thi?" Maa asked me. "What happened now? Did your favorite singer-umm what's his name? Yeah Darshan Raval released another song?" Baba asked me.

"No Baba. Something more than that. Guess it." I said excitedly.

"Umm. Let me think." Baba said.

"Let me guess. Your registration for hustle got approved and you are selected for auditions?" Maa looked at me asking if she was right. I broke out into a huge smile and hugged her.

"How did you know,Maa?", I asked her.

"A mother knows everything. And moreover your face expresses it." She said.

"I love you Maa." I told her.

"We are so proud of you. Let's go and rock the audition." Baba said

"But Baba, I have a problem." I nervously told them.

"You don't do anything without creating any problem." Di was making faces.

"What's this behavior Satakshi? Firstly you didn't congratulate her. Now you're behaving like this." Maa scolded her. "Ignore her. Tell me Annu what's worrying you."

"I've to go to Mumbai for auditions. Baba you can't skip your office. How will I go there?" I asked them.

"What's a big deal? You'll go alone. You need to learn dealing with things alone. What say ?" Baba said.

"Baba you're giving her too much freedom. One day, she'll end up running away with a boy and will be marrying him without you." Di said. I have never even been in a friendship with any boy. Still she was saying such things. She knows how much Baba hates all this.

"What rubbish are you talking Satakshi?" Maa gave her disgusting look.

"What if I'm right Baba?" She asked.

"If you will ever come up right at this point, I promise to break all the ties with her. She will be dead for us if she did anything like that." Baba told her. I didn't care about it cause I knew I'll never do any such thing. "Moreover, I trust my daughter with everything. Annu I'll be always there for you no matter what. I know my daughters." Baba smiled at me.

"Whatever. I don't have anything to do these days. I can go with her." Di said.

"That's like my sister. I love you di." I went to hug her.

"Look, how much you throw tantrums at her, she still loves you." Maa exclaimed.

"Maa, she tries to make me bold. Right?" I asked her. She nodded in return.
