THROUGH THE BLINDS

CHLOES POV

"So your telling me that you drove from what- an hour away in New York just to come and see me? And Lexi gave you our address to come and surprise me? AND you brought sugar cookies for all of us because Blair wanted some?"

"Yeah."
"That sounds about right."
"Pretty much."

Lexi, Blair, and Timothee all say in exact union as we all sit around in the kitchen. Blair starts to dig into the cookies as she thanks Timmy for them while Lexi makes herself some coffee. Timothee is here sitting on top of the counter near the sink as his legs hang off.

"I just wanted to hang out today since I had no plans. Rainy days in New York are always so boring but with friends it's automatically fun." Timothee says as he runs a hand through his curls.

"So it would be fun if I beat you in Mario Kart and you wine like a little baby?" Blair replies provoking him for the fun of it.

"Yeah Tim, bet she can beat you." Says Lexi, butting in the conversation as she pours creamer into her coffee.

"Oh wow, now you two are pathetic. I could easily beat you in some Mario Kart Blair. See, I'm sure Chloe agrees with me."

Timothee looks at me for some support but I turn around like I pretend he's trying to talk to someone behind me. I then look at him and shrug.

"I don't know who your talking to but I'm sure they disagree with your statement Mr. Chalamet." I tell him as I take a bite out of my sugar cookie, smiling with my lips.

He laughs a little and looks at Blair, getting up immediately. "Then let's settle this shall we?"

Blair smiles and tucks both sides of her hair behind her ear as she gets prepared for the competition. "Okay, your on!"

"Chloe pass me the switch!" She tells me with an excited voice and I laugh as I get out the chair and run to my room, getting the switch and quickly bringing it to her.

Blair then sets it up in the small living room. Timothee takes a seat on the floor as Blair hands him a switch remote that is way too tiny for his hands. She then takes a seat beside him as the tv screen lights up with the theme song for the game.

I then take a seat on the couch and so does Lexi. "How long do you think this is going to last?" Lexi asks me with a slight smile.

"Long enough for me to start loving Garfield like he loves Lasagna. And just so you know, I hate Garfield."

I tell Lexi, taking another bite out of my cookie. She rolls her eyes and laughs a little then takes a sip from her coffee.
