UNCERTAIN FEELINGS

16

It was 4:32 am. Chloe had woken up due to a nightmare. It was a dream she kept having over and over throughout the month.

She couldn't necessarily put the dream into words but it was one that kept occurring.

It bothered her, making her feel anxious. Almost to the point where she would catch a fever and feel like she had to throw up.

Maybe it's a stomach bug, she thought. But she never was sure.

But there she was, laying in her bed as she looked outside of her huge window. Overlooking the view of New York.

It had been a few days since she returned from the small vacation Blaire had planned out. Everything was normal so far, but social media had a big impact on the whole situation.

It didn't bother Chloe much but sometimes it really did. It really got to her sometimes. It got to the point where she didn't want to go out of her room.

It didn't really bother her fully, though.

So, there Chloe was, enjoying the peace and quiet of her room.

She thought about the whole situation with Timothee and Blaire. Maybe she took the whole thing out of proportion but she definitely wasn't sure.

It was all so very confusing.

Chloe leaned over her bed and tapped her phone, making the phone turn on. There was two notifications she noticed.

One was a text. The other was a missed call. And it was both from three minutes ago.

Chloe's eyebrows creased as she picked up her phone and unlocked it immediately. She went to her messages and seen the name.

It was timmy. And it read, "open the door baby, I'm home."

Chloe went to her missed calls. He also called her. Three fucking minutes ago.

Chloe jumped out of her bed, running out of her room. Slipping and sliding through the hallway, she finally reached the apartment door.

Chloe then looked through the hole of the door, only to reveal a tall, dark headed boy standing there with his phone in his hand.

Chloe gasped as she didn't expect him to still be standing there. She hurriedly unlocked the door and swung it open.

Then there were those dark eyes, staring into hers. That's when everything disappeared.

"Timmy?"

"Baby, I'm home."

Chloe practically jumped into Timothee's arms. Squeezing him and holding him close to her body.

Timothee chuckled as he held her back. He walked inside her apartment, bringing his belongings with him behind.

He closed the door and put his things down. He wrapped both arms around Chloe, hugging her back as tightly as she was.

"Tell me what the hell you are doing here," Chloe said. Her voice muffled due to her face being in Timothee's neck.

"I came to see you, love. I missed you so much." He spoke, seeming like he was avoiding every wrong doing that had occurred lately.

Chloe pulled herself away from him. Her arms untangling from his neck as she stepped back. She gave him a weak smile and looked down at her feet.

"You left the vacation?" She asked.

"Only to come see you," he responded.

Chloe looked up at him. "Lexi is still there?" Timothee nodded.

"She's coming home tomorrow. I spoke with her yesterday," Timothee told her. Chloe nodded in response.

Timothee grabbed both of Chloe's hands, holding them in his. His eyes glanced down at what she was wearing.

Chloe had a big, navy blue shirt on with black shorts that were too little for her. Timothee smiled, making Chloe slightly smile.

"I love your shirt, darling." He told her.

She chuckled. "It's yours, Tim."

"I know."

"You really came back for me?"

"How could I not?" Timothee asked. "I miss you every second of the day, mon ange."

( mon ange stands for
my angel in french )

Chloe shook her head gently. "That's not how you made it seem. It seemed like you distanced yourself from me."

Timothee looked at me, no emotion was shown whatsoever. He sighed, "that's actually what you did to me, baby."

Chloe furrowed her eyebrows, obviously looking confused. "Really?"

Timmy nodded his head. "Really."

"Oh. I didn't notice that, Tim. I'm sorry." She said, making it seem genuine.

"I forgive you, baby. It's ok. We'll make this work," he told her. Making it seem real.

Timothee picked the girl up, wrapping her legs around his waist. He walked to Chloe's room, leaving his belongings behind.

Once he entered her room, he closed the door. He then turned and pressed Chloe's back against the wooden, white door.

Chloe stared into Timothee's eyes. He stared back into hers, looking at her lips then at her eyes. Chloe brought his face closer to his.

As her lips were just about to brush his, she closed her eyes and sighed. "You know I missed you." She said.

Timothee stared at her lips. "I knew you missed me."

It was silent for a minute or two. Chloe's eyes stayed closed and Timmy stood there, holding the girl as his mind raced.

"Kiss me," Chloe told the man.

Timothee smiled and leaned in. He kissed her passionately, their lips both moving in perfect sync.

Chloe wasn't so sure about this but it meant the world to her. This moment was the best thing that had happened to her.

The night became long. And soon it went further.

but if only she knew,
the real reason he returned.
