Sorry for interrupting the reading, but I have decided on a major plot change.
You may have realised, Ufa and Vorkuta are on two different sides of the Russian federation. Yes, they are.
As I am not very familiar with the Trans Siberian/lower eastern Russia, I have decided to completely change the path of the main characters (sorry if you like the trans Siberian railway.) As I am much more familiar with the North, starting with St.Petersburg to Yakutsk, their route will be a bit different.
Although I won't change it now, once the story is completed, I will go back and change the route, coming from the North to St. Petersburg instead of from the south, in Rostov on Don.
Thank you for reading thus far, and I hope you are okay with the changes (and rash decisions) and enjoy the continuation.
