Darkness

The black capes.
It swallows all,
Hiding everything in its drapes.
Turning everything invisible.

The black will eat.
Nothing will be visible,
Not even people's feet.
As nothing is left uncovered.

The black will blind.
People becoming fearful,
As they become entwined,
In thinking the worse.

The black brings the worse.
People panic,
Representing the curse,
And evil in thoughts.

The black captures us.
Opening the thoughts of evil.
We begin to fuss,
Over the unthinkable.

The black brings some light.
With a touch of shimmer.
Which is the night,
The moon floating above.

The moon is our savior,
Chasing away the thoughts.
Bringing in a new flavor.
People relax.

The moon watches above,
Many fall into their beds.
It grins with love,
As the humans below sleep.

When the people arouse,
The fear is gone.
And the humans rouse,
Until the darkness comes again.
