Where

Where has school gone?

I was just there yesterday!

But it's finally gone!

Summer Break has finally come!

With its tans and typical pool parties,

The late bed times.

Where has school gone?

It's on a break as well.

Allowing others to refresh.

Not just for students,

But for teachers

Too.

Where has school gone?

As there's no homework,

But full of fun.

The fun is relieving,

Summer sports are

Exciting.

Where has summer gone?

It's washed away

with the waves.

Our days are limited,

Spending them with

Friends and family.

Where has summer gone?

It feels like yesterday,

I got out of school.

I just recently cleaned out

my back pack.

Got rid of last grade's school work.

Where has summer gone?

My mother is already

talking of my next grade.

Can't you just stop?!

I want this summer

to last!

For even my summers

Are limited now,

Before I'm set free to care for myself.

*This is how my summers' feel these years... How sometimes I wish I was that little kid who only worried only about her dolls' clothes (yes.... I might have been that kid...) But everyone must grow up right? Anyways, I'm curious, what are my fellow readers going to do this summer break? I have a school thing for next year that is basically taking up my whole summer. Plus basketball, softball, and marching band.... Also this is a special occasion when I'll post today :) Enjoy!*
