Chapter 10

The sun shone through the window, its rays shining into Mizuki's eyes. She groaned, shifting a bit as she slowly woke up. She opened her eyes, but quickly closed them due to the light shining in them.

She moved her arm in front of her face, blocking the sunlight. She then opened her eyes, only to see Todoroki putting his shirt on. Mizuki slowly sat up, hissing in pain as she did so. Every part of her body was sore.

Todoroki looked over at Mizuki, "Morning Mizuki. How'd you sleep?" He asked as he sat down on his bed. Mizuki stretched her sore limbs, yawning as she did so, "I've slept much better than I have for a while." She admitted.

She looked down at her wrists, them having bandages wrapped around them. The scales around her wrists were dented and some were broken. She sighed and looked at Todoroki, who gave her a small smile, which she returned.

Todoroki then stood up, "Come on, we have to let the others know you're here." He said as he helped Mizuki to her paws. Mizuki stood up and the two of them walked out of Todoroki's dorm. Mizuki's mouth watered as she smelt French toast. The two of them walked into the kitchen area, where all their classmates were, even Mr. Aizawa was there, drinking some coffee.

Everyone was talking with one another. She looked over and saw Momo making French toast, a pot of tea next to her. "Morning Momo." Todoroki said, "Good morning Todoroki-" Momo said, but stopped as she turned around. "M-Mizuki?" Everyone went silent.

Soon, before Mizuki could process anything, everyone came over and gave her one giant group hug, causing her to yelp in surprise. "G-guys... Can't... Breathe..." Mizuki managed to gasp out. Everyone had pulled away, allowing Mizuki to breathe.

Aizawa walked over and pulled Mizuki into a hug, "We've all missed you Mizuki." He said as Mizuki slowly hugged him back. Aizawa then pulled away, Denki jumped in front of her, causing her to yelp out in surprise. "Where were you Mizuki?!" He practically screamed at her.

"Yeah, you've been missing for a month, ribbit," Tsu said, looking Mizuki in the eyes. Mizuki felt tears forming in her eyes. Kirishima then pointed at her neck, "What's with the collar?"

Mizuki looked down at her collar, lightly touching it. "Guys... Midoriya's alive..." She said sadly. Soon, everyone started to bombard her with questions.

"How is he alive?"

"Where did you see him?"

"What happened to him?"

"Where is he?"

Mizuki started to back away from the others, Todoroki stepped in front of her. "Guys, let her speak." He said, which had caused the others to stop talking. Mizuki let out a small sigh, "I saw and talked with Midoriya, but he wasn't himself. He was more aggressive," She then held her stomach with one hand and her neck with her other.

"He was more possessive. He's the one who put this on," She pointed to the collar on her neck. "He caused these wounds. And I just want this fucking collar off, but nothing I do will get it off." She said, tugging at the collar a bit.

She suddenly felt a shock in her neck, causing her to scream in pain, falling to the floor. Everyone crowded around her, Mizuki dug her claws into her skull. Soon, the shock had stopped, tears were running down her face.

Iida walked over and helped Mizuki stand up. Mizuki shook her head slightly, her ears ringing a bit. "We should get that collar off. Let's take you to the Support Department." Aizawa said as he led Mizuki to the elevator.

Mizuki nodded and walked to the elevator with her teacher. The two of them soon exited the building and walked to U.A. It was silent for a few moments before Mizuki spoke up, "Mr. Aizawa, what all happened when I was missing?" She asked, glancing down at Aizawa. (She's taller than him)
