Chapter six

" When me and your father was around 19 I found out that I was pregnant " my mom had started to say.

"Um okay what that gotta do with us." Ja'lani said with her faced scrunched up.

"Exactly." Me and Avion said at the same time.

We all laughed together , besides my mom she was just had her hands on her hip .

"Can y'all shut up so I can speak." My mother bucked .

" Anyways when I got pregnant at that time me and your father really didn't want to keep the baby because of the situation we was both in."

" So we gave it to this wonderful couple who was having trouble with having babies." She continued to say.

" But the reason I'm telling y'all this is because I think it's time he was apart of our family ." She said

"Hold up so your saying we have a whole other brother out there and we just now finding out ." I called out

" Is he older then me or younger then me." Ja'lani asked

" You was 2 when I found out I was pregnant ja'lani so he's 19 now ."

" So your tellin me mama dis nigga older then me and Jaliyah." My brother called out and said.

" He isn't just a nigga Avion that's y'all brother and I texted him inviting him over so he should be here shortly." My mom said

" Well he's a nigga to me and I'm about to head out I got business to take care of." Avion said getting up.

" Your ass ain't going no where this is supposed to be a family moment ." Ja'lani tried to tell him

" Just let him do what he wanna do , if he wanna be gay and wanna kiss all them boys ass let him." I said and all the attention was on me

"Avions gay?" My sister asked in shock

" Who the fuck said I was gay and I never kiss ass they look up to me and follow me around ." Avion bucked walking to the door.

" All ima say is that your too young being in the streets and doing that. You know dad would of slapped ya ugly ass for doing that." I said

" Enough." My mom yelled out

" Avion your gonna sit your ass down and that's just that." My mom said

" And Jaliyah don't say that shit again because my son isn't fucking gay and that's on period ." She said putting the trash in the garbage.

" Whateva because like I always say he's a kiss ass ." I said rolling my eyes not giving a fuck

" Can y'all just both shut the fuck up because I really don't care about this right now ." Ja'lani said

"Knock knock !"

" Omg wait that must be him." My mom said as her eyes started to get watery.

My mom went to open the door and when she opened it I assumed that was my brother because she invited him in and hugged him .

that's the same guy that was in jays section that night of the party.

Was they friends , bestfriends or something?

" I'm sorry if I made you travel at this time."   My mom said wiping tears away.

" Nah it's okay I didn't mind coming to see my real family." He chuckled

" Well That's your older sister Ja'lani and your twin siblings Jaliyah and Avion." My mom said smiling and pointing out.

" Hey ." We all said

" Did they end up giving you a new name or they kept your name." My mom had asked

"Really mom." I asked her

" What I'm asking him a question now move ." She said flagging her arm .

" You better stop before all that fat from under your arm falls off." Avion said and we all busted out laughing .

" They named me Desmond though ." He continues to say

" See they had taste to keep your name ." My momma laughed

After we got to meet Desmond , my mother and Ja'lani and Avion went to the living room watching tv.

I was in the dining room texting Alissa and Desmond had came up to me .

" You know you not slick right." He laughed

" What you mean?" I asked him

" Like I didn't see you trying to hit at my homeboy the other night ."

" Yeah yeah wateva ." I said scrolling on Instagram.

" Well since he your homeboy have you heard from him ." I asked

" Yeah I was with him before I had came over here . Why wassup ?" He asked

" We had linked , no we didn't fuck but we linked and it was cool and fun . But he had got a notification and just stormed out." I said aggravated.

" Then it's been a couple of hours and I didn't even get not one call or text from him ." I continued to say.

" You want me to talk to him ." He asked

" Nope I'm fine ,but you could tell me his address to his tattoo shop ." I said

" Aii no doubt just give me your number and I'll send it." He said

" Thank you ." I said

I really didn't know why I had his shop address but I did. Maybe I'll stop by and see what the fuck is up .

" Alright guys I'm out ." I said giving them a hug

"Lemme walk out with you ." Avion said hugging them too and closing the door behind us.

" Sis do you really trust him." He had asked me referring to Desmond

" I mean he seems cool so I guess I do ." I said

" mhm alright well ima start hanging out with you more , you know as twins we gotta be close as ever ." He had said

Which is true especially as twins , I just didn't like how he would always be a follower

" You right I just wish you choose right paths , but I'll catch you later." I said giving him a hug and going inside my car.
