Chapter twenty

"So did you really recorded him getting fucked ." Jaliyah asked me while we got in the car .

"Yeah like that nigga was really crying for his life ." I responded laughing at the flashbacks coming back.

"That's crazy ." She responded laughing back as I started to drive off .

"But Jaliyah I'm really sorry I know it might take you a minute to trust me again and I understand but I want us to work ." I said looking at her then back at the road

"I don't know Jay , lemme have time to think about it." She said as I parked the car .

We was walking up to the front door when we heard  gun shots in our direction.

BOOM !
BOOM!

"GET DOWN!" I screamed to Jaliyah , getting behind a bush taking out my gun shooting back .

Everything was flashing between my eyes all I was thinking about was protecting Jaliyah and my unborn baby.

" nigga you think you could just come to my trap thinking shit was gonna slide ." Some nigga said running towards Jaliyah shooting her.

Everything after that went dark .

"JAY I'M BLEEDING." I screamed out falling to the floor looking at the blood on my hands

"I'll see you around pussy ." The nigga said going in his car driving away .

Before he got a chance to get away I hurried up and took a picture of his license plate.

      Jay lifted me up placing me in the car driving to the nearest hospital

"Where you shot at." He tried looking and focusing on the road at the same time.

"My stomach, hurry and drive to a hospital Jay." I shouted in pain

I was waiting for the doctor to come and give me any information on Jaliyah . I called everyone in her family besides Desmond.

I felt bad fucking nia knowing that's his girl so I've been keeping my distance even tho that was my ex first .

"Jay is she okay , how is she ?." Jalani came  rushing in the waiting room crying .

Right behind her was her mother and her brother Avion .

"Did the doctor come out and say anything." Her mother asked in concern

"I haven't heard any news ." I replied back

"It's your fault my sister shot you son of a bitch ." Avion said in rage shoving me

"It's not my fault nigga , we both was shot at ."I said shoving his ass back catching attention from doctors and people in the waiting room.

This nigga got me fucked up like I won't fuck him up

"Avion cut this shit before I slap the hell outta you ." His mother said slapping him in the back of his head pulling him back .

"OUCH!" He said in pain from the bruises still being there.

"Oh shìt I forgot you got kidnapped last month." My mother said suddenly remembering

"The family of Jaliyah Jones ." A doctor said coming towards us as we all stood up

"How is she ." Her mother asked letting go of Avion walking up to the doctor

He took a deep breath looked at the floor and back at us.

"She's fine , definitely needed some stitches but she's being strong ." He said

We all was relieved hearing that ,all I could ask now was how was my unborn baby .

"How's the baby ?" I asked him and her brother and her mom looked up at me confused

"I'm sorry to say but the baby didn't make it , she lost too much blood and the baby suffered some damages." He said not knowing what to say after

"I didn't know she was pregnant." Her mom and brother said at the same time

Jalani just stayed quite

My whole world crashed apart hearing that shit.
