"Calling the attention of all students. You may now go home. Due to the crime scene, the main entrance is prohibited of use. With that, we will be using the outdoor field gate for now."
"Go home" Sunghoon whispers to me as the school bell rings. I just stared at him and so did he, deeply.
As I was about to talk, he interrupted, "Don't let your curiosity choose your fate."
"It doesn't matter anymore, they already recruited me. My fate already started..." I said in a cold tone. I heard him letting out a deep sigh. Why does he keep refraining me from this? Does he care? Well, it lowkey looks like he does... Y/n stop getting your hopes up.
"Fine... if that's what you want me to do." I claimed and packed my things. He looked at me with raised eyebrows, looking slightly flustered, and slowly nodded.
"Ugh..." I sighed, deeply, as I move back and forth on my bed, trying to sleep.
Suddenly, my phone started alarming, disturbingly loud. I sat on my bed, grabbing my phone. Nothing was on the screen, no calls, no emergency alarms, it was just alarming. I quickly shut my phone off completely. I sighed in relief, my room filled with pure silence and breeze coming through the window.
"8:43" I mumbled to myself as I stared at the moon. Are they still... there?
Just when I was in my thoughts, my phone began alarming exceedingly loud once more. How is this even possible? I powered it off! I kept my palm on my ears, covering it from the loud alarm.
"THAT'S IT!" I shouted and ran out of my apartment, leaving my phone.
"It appears to be... quiet." I thought as I stand in front of the school's main entrance, feeling very hesitant. Caution tape surrounds the main entrance, i suddenly remembered aeri's body sitting there, lifeless. Well... there's no turning back anymore.
"Here goes nothing-" I suddenly stopped as I remembered Sunghoon...
go home.
I sighed, "Sorry, Sunghoon... I guess I'm going to let my curiosity choose my fate." I mumbled and went through the tapes, going inside the school.
My footsteps echoes through the hallway as I slowly roam around the school, trying not to make a noise. I don't know what can happen at this point. I can feel my heart beating rapidly from the strong petrifying cold atmosphere.
"AAAA STOP GET AWAY FROM ME"
my body unsteadyly fell on the ground as someone pushes me, falling beside me. My eyes widened, looking at the girl beside me, covered in blood.
"HELP ME PLEASE HELP ME" She desperately shouts at me, trembling in fear, as she shooks my body aggressively.
Just when I was about to pull us away from the scene, blood splattered in just a blink of an eye. My body trembles as I slowly turn beside me to look at the girl. I gasped, almost falling on my knees.
"Hahaha" The girl behind us laughs as she deepens the sharp knife that is stabbed on the girl beside me. I stared at her with my eyes widened in shock. Her face throws a psychotic look along with her messy bun and bloody uniform just like the other girl.
"I'm going to give you 10 seconds to run just like her, but make it faster, can you? This girl right here was too... boring, I would say." She smirked. Should I run like what the girl did? but I don't know how to fight her, I'm empty-handed.
