When the world ends

Chapter 20

"I love you," Kyle smiled at me and grabbed my hand. My mouth fell open.

"Kai," I breathed. His smile faltered.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I don't want to love anyone right now. Not until we figure this mess out. Please don't hate me!" I practically yelled the last part. His eyebrows furrowed and his hands clenched.

"How can you not expect me to hate you? I just confessed my love for you and you shot me down! Emily I loath you!" He screamed at me and stomped away. My heart broke and I sobbed. My chest constricted and it was hard to breathe. I stood up blindly and tried to go towards Kyle. He looked back and sneered at me.

"Have a nice life with Harry he's the only one who doesn't hate you. Me and Sarah hate you. Go kill yourself," he growled. I sat down and started shaking like an earthquake hit. My cheek started stinging out of no where.

"EMILY PLEASE WAKE UP!" A voice screamed at me. I opened my eyes quickly and gasped. My vision was blurry and my face hurt. Harry Louis Kyle and Chris stood over me and Sarah stood at the door of the roof. I curled up in a ball and covered my face. It was a nightmare! I shook violently.

"Em are you alright?" Kyle asked. I flinched at the sound of his voice and stood up shakily. I shook my head and left them standing there. Silent tears fell down my face as I ran down to the lobby and ran out the door. I ran to the first place I thought of. The toy store. I ran in and went to the back and laid on a soft pillow.

"Why were you running?" I heard a voice ask from beside me. I looked up and saw Chris.

"Go away Chris," I whispered.

"You know Chris? I'm Peter his brother!" The guy said. I gasped and looked at him.
